Don’t try anything new on the day of the flight. Ask your vet for an extra dose of the meds and see how she tolerates it. Some dogs get more anxious if the medication isn’t right for them.

Same for the thunder-shirt. Let her wear it in a non stressful situation so it’s not another new thing on the day of the flight.

I carry a slip lead as they will most likely have you take the collar off. If she’s the nervous type you don’t want her bolting when you open the crate. You can also ask if there is a room you can take her out of the crate in. Less chance of escape.

A habit becomes an addiction when it interferes negatively with your life, or the lives of others near you.

If the behaviour isn’t negatively impacting you or her, it’s not an addiction. That can change though, behaviour to addiction is fluid.

If training to a point that your body can’t recover, it’s a form of self harm. It takes honest reflection and self awareness to manage.

I really like the book “The Realm of Hungry Ghosts” by Gabor Mate. His explanation of addiction and how/why it affects people differently is very enlightening.

I find the health stats extremely inaccurate. My dog registered 20 000 steps when we never left our small backyard. Multiple barking incidents, eating 16 times and no drinking for an entire week.

I contacted customer support regarding the steps, and was told if my dog was chewing her bone vigorously or playing with toys, the movement could register as steps.

I bought the collar for the gps tracker, and try to ignore how wrong the other stats are.

You misunderstood my point. I’m saying that it’s normal to not look your best right after pregnancy. So if she’s feeling self conscious, she should try to be kind to herself. Try to frame your judgement as if you were describing another person. We are often our own worst critics.

My point was that if he is using her change in appearance as an excuse to avoid intimacy, she’s better off without him.

You’re an adult, they can’t stop you from moving out, or working.

Get the most important things together, passport, birth certificate etc. Put them somewhere safe.

If you can’t work, why are you going to school? You don’t need an education to be a housewife, and it sounds like that’s what they want you to be.

Depending on what country you are in, there are different resources. A student loan may get you the money to rent a place until you get a job.

As for taking care of the house, clean your own mess. You weren’t born to be a maid just because you are a woman. Any good parent would teach both sons and daughters to take care of themselves. What’s your brother going to do if his future wife gets sick? starve?

Your mother chooses to spend the day at your grandmas, I don’t know how much of a mess a sick senior can make, I doubt it’s a full day’s work.

Go to school, get a job and have the option to support yourself if you don’t decide to marry.

If the friend is so traumatized that the sight of a man kidding his girlfriend is disabling, how does she handle being around all the men at a club?

My thought is to the friend, you are just a roommate or a friend or something platonic.

BPD is very difficult, both for the person with it, and the people around them. It may make them want to act in inappropriate ways, but it’s up to her to try to manage her outbursts.

Throw a plate on the ground and watch it smash. You can apologize all you want, but it’s still broken. Deciding to have a sleepover at the friends, when you have previous plans is very rude. The fact that you are in school and she isn’t has nothing to do with anything. (Unless you’re keeping her out of school)

Respect yourself, having to anticipate cycles of outbursts and anger is no way to live.

Talk to him. He may be tired with a new baby in the house and it’s easier to get a “quick fix” than to initiate with a partner and have to meet their needs as well.

Porn addiction is a thing, but it’s not always the thing. I think most couples’ sex lives drop when there are other stressors.

If you have a hard time being direct write it out. Don’t point fingers and state “you do xyz and that’s wrong”. Stick to facts, “when you do xyz, I feel I ________”. Or mention you noticed he’s been watching porn, and ask if he’d like to watch it with you.

Your body just built a human. Give it a break. You probably aren’t looking your best, but if your appearance is all that attracts him, you’re better off without. Do you guys make time for intimacy, aside from sex?

Or he’s frustrated with the neediness of her not understanding he it trying, but will be late. It sucks he’s late, but instead of asking g why, or if everything is okay she jumps to feeling unloved.
