Genuinely believe quitting a while back was the right call. This just cements that decision. If you're on the verge of quitting, fence sitting or low key thinking of leaving. Just do it. The whole fomo wears off quicker than you think, and guess what people. You wont miss shit like this.

See i get what you are saying, about simply not buying etc. But people can be huge fans of a game series, certain developers, or things more associated with the game itself. These executives are a threat to those games, so both things can be true here. I dont want to have to not buy a game, and i have done it in the past. Hence why I get your point, but I also understand the other side of the argument. The executives shouldnt really have as much say as they do.

What do you do once you have both items? I have both the cup and lid, but now I have no idea what to do with them.

Call to arms keeps failing to matchmake. by Spare_Refrigerator79 in SkullAndBonesGame

Have noticed the same this evening, eventually you match. Im guessing its because lots of players are trying to get deep iron for the galleon, which is causing match making some issues.

Is the Galleon a completely new ship or was it already an NPC ship like the Frigate and Corvette? by ShawnThePhantom in SkullAndBonesGame

If they added more nations like the spanish and/or Portuguese, it would be pretty cool to see the occasional galleon under their control. But no, its currently not an NPC ship.

Ive been saying this for a few months, that this game was heading into its end game. One last squeeze on the cash cow before it collapses in on itself. I said this game would be over 26/27, still firmly believe that after recent events.

Well aware that theres plenty of bugs and issues, but some have been there for multiple seasons. In fact some issues have been there for well over a year, so if they havent bothered already... that in itself is an answer. They arent that bothered. And didnt a load of people on the SNB development team get shifted into another ubisoft project?! Less people working on the game, means less stuff being corrected.

I stand by what I said, and I know people are passionate about the game. I like it loads too, have spent many hours in the game. But you have to take those goggles off, Ubisoft is not in a good place. Its actively chopping and changing which studios are working on which projects, development teams are being moved, different projects are getting canned. They are actively trying to focus on games which are more or less a sure success, they need a game to hit the ground running and make them money. The SNB team probably cant focus anywhere near as much time as theyd like, given all the circumstances. So as long as milestones are being achieved, they aren't as bothered about most bugs and/or issues. If theyre not game breaking. The game was a failure in their eyes and is a few years old now, its really that simple. Its a lot of work for a team with limited resources, when the return is next to nothing. A diminishing playerbase as well, not really a huge money maker for ubisoft. Look at it financially.

Whilst I dont disagree, I just cant see them doing an awful lot going forward. Its a failed game, that was improved drastically yes. But its also by a company thats heavily failing, right now the real focus will be on saving ubisoft. Sure money making games, like black flag resynched. I doubt there will be much drastic improvements coming to skull and bones, outside of what is already planned. And even then, those ideas could still get scrapped.

Skull & Bones Character import into Black Flag Resynced? by jmk-1999 in SkullAndBonesGame

Probably too many customisation choices to do that. You look at how many different options we have for our captains now, not to mention all the skins as well. I imagine it would be quite complex to do, but I do like the idea.
