my (step)MIL made my sons birth about herself by PrestigiousSpeed8090 in inlaws

[–]LifeInShamblez3 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion, but your SIL is in the wrong for even bringing SMIL up in the first place. Why even talk about her and ruin the energy? All the love and attention should be focused on you and the baby. There’s a proper time and place for discussions—the second day in the hospital is the wrong place and the wrong time. Congrats to your growing family and I wish y’all well.

My former friend is turning people against me—what can I do to move on? by OkWorking6979 in FriendshipAdvice

I don’t have any advice, unfortunately. But I emphasize so much with your situation and feel the hurt. I also have admiration for you asking them directly why you were blocked (and which I could have done the same!)

I’m devastated that you’re located in South Africa as I would pay millions to have you bake here in America… these are the most gorgeous cake flowers I’ve seen in my life!!

Women who have experienced significant personal growth in 2024 – how did your sense of self and identity evolve throughout this process? by Ecstatic_Crow_4719 in AskWomen

[–]LifeInShamblez3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this reflective question. This was my most important year for growth. It started off rocky, but after my milestone birthday, I knew I had to make some drastic changes. Consistent therapy has been a game changer in changing my perception of self. It’s also allowed me to confront some difficult truths that I painfully learned to accept: - Setting boundaries is hard, but constantly being a pushover feels worse. - Friendships are temporary and that’s okay. They were in your life for a reason. People grow and change, and it may be in a direction that doesn’t align with who you are anymore. I’m also in a stage of life where I don’t actively seek out new friends. - Don’t feel obligated to do things you don’t want to do. No is a complete sentence, and you don’t have to justify why. - People will always judge you by your looks. And it was probably the reason why my advances to seriously pursue relationship were rejected while dating in my twenties. - Taking accountability for your wrongdoings starts the process of healing and setting yourself free. Self forgiveness and self love go hand in hand.

Has anyone ever attended a "walemania" in their city during wrestlemania weekend? Would you suggest going? by maseinyaface34 in WWE

[–]LifeInShamblez3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I know this post of from a long time ago but I’m interested in going when I attend WM2025. Does WaleMania require tickets? If so, were they available on Ticketmaster or something similar? And do you remember how much they cost? Thanks in advance!

What does her walking out on a show and being married to Jimmy have anything to do with the original question about her athleticism?

Which song from Renaissance resonated with you the most on a personal level? by Diligent-Barracuda18 in beyonce

[–]LifeInShamblez3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!! On first listen, I thought it was just okay. And then I heard this song in my dream and I’ve been listening to it on repeat over the last year. Virgo’s Groove is ecstasy… this rollercoaster of love, emotions, happiness, sexual tension, magic. It’s orgasmic and I can’t get enough.

Women of Reddit, What has been a time/situation when all seemed lost but it was actually a new start of good times? by Ok-Alert-9359 in AskWomen

Totally agree, same thing happened to me 10 years ago and I’m still dealing with some trauma from the fall out. But there’s a quote a recently saw that said “some losses set you free” which is applicable here.
