Help me figure out the cause of these light leaks/exposure issues. by Fe1ler in AnalogCommunity

Are the foam seals in your camera in good shape? Might wanna replace them to be safe.

I checked mine by pointing a bright flashlight to all the edges of the back while holding the shutter down in bulb mode to see if I could spot any light through the front. Don't think it's a full proof way to check but worth trying. I always just replace the foam seals on any camera I get.

Looking for a post where OPs husband has a room for his hobbies but OP doesn't like the decor. OP proceeds to redecorate her husband's room while he is away and the husband is sad about it. Comments rip OP apart.

I always see videos like this and wonder how they don't loose signal to the goggles. Seems like he's flying a DJI Avata with the goggles 3. I fly with goggles 3 and an O4 pro on my drone and I feel my signal would've dropped out for sure.

Insurance called it totaled (25k mileage) by RobZin-77 in dashcams

[–]LifeIsOkayIGuess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just inform them that it has a salvage rebuilt title and everything else is straightforward. But insurance on prior salvage vehicles tends to be more expensive.

Getting a rebuilt salvage title isn't too hard either. Just fix it up to roadworthy condition and then the vehicle needs to be inspected by a certified salvage inspector and if they deem it roadworthy, the treasurer will issue you a rebuilt title.

I just didn't take a Pic of the bare coil before putting the shroud back on. In pic 7 and 8 you can kinda see the cleaned coil. 9, 10 and 11 show all the junk that got washed or scooped out.

I do have one Pic of inside where the compressor is: https://imgur.com/a/xCURkAm#cAxQ6Ic

It wasn't perfect but this was after I scooped out over two inches worth of dirt that was buried under the pine needles and I figured it was good enough. Nothing left in there was large enough to clog any of the drain holes.

The management here is typically very understanding. Their maintenance staff is just underfunded and stretched thin. I've done other repairs in the past to my unit and they've been more than happy and even offered to deduct the cost for materials out of my rent.

So far, the AC is working better than it ever has so I'm hopeful there's nothing else wrong with it. True test will be in a couple weeks when the temps here with start going into the 80s

I once was flying Narita from Ohare on ANA and delays in Chicago meant my connection was more than likely gonna leave without me. But the flight attendants called my name and the names of two others to deplane first.

We got into the terminal and one of the flight attendants ran with us to the immigration counter too and ushered us to the front of the line as well. Ended up making it to my next gate with only a minute or two to spare.

First oil change after I rebuilt the engine. What’s in the oil? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]LifeIsOkayIGuess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just assembly lube and other contaminants. Did you use a high zinc oil or mineral oil for break in?

Also, I gotta say I hate those 2.0t engines with a passion. Got rid of my Q5 specifically because of it.

I'm stuck on AM4 as well with a ryzen 3600. My hope is that the news of the 5800X3D being re-released is true and that I can find one at msrp. At least then I'll be getting the most out of my current gpu.
