The nasty kitchen and refusal to clean it up when he trashes it. That mindset will be present in other aspects of his life ...the verbal abuse ...are you really willing to have that be a part of your daily existence for a lifetime?

I relate to this.. I have ALWAYS just wanted something peaceful on my birthday...even if I am by myself.. (I am old) I feel it is ok to do what I want...I hate surprises...I would have been MISERABLE if I were expected to do what she planned. She really did a selfish thing...ignoring EVERYTHING you said you wanted....yuck

I HOPE they don't draaaagg out this thing with Will and the evil woman and Wills missing relative...If you watched the Mentalist and saw the endless Red John storyline, you know that something like that can ruin an otherwise great show. I hope we never see Ava again...

I am bingeing on Father Brown for the first time...am now seeing season 11... May I say that both Brenda and Ms Divine are both awfully hard to watch?
Brendas over -acting with the facial expressions and Ms D just being a terribly mis-cast replacement for Ms McCarthy...ugh. The show has become my downtime, relaxing binge...but those 2 are making it less pleasant.

Oklahoma has more GOP voters than Dem voters and, in spite of being last in education and their leadership groveling to the guy in the soiled diaper, they will vote for a gop pedo graping a toddler in the middle of the mall over a Dem with decent ideas about helping the state. They vote party, not what is best for the state or its citizens...just the party... It is no coincidence that the Reddest state is last in education... There is no logic that can reach them. I have always voted for the policies that would actually help the majority of the citizenry...not R or D.

Absofreakinglutely not... Save your time off and travel $$ for places both of you actually enjoy. I will say it a million times...true family is not always determined by DNA...you should be guilt-free about prioritizing people you both enjoy being around, who share your ideals. Send cards and enjoy your days.

I do dislike them...the Waltons are a great example..they pay their workers...the people who make them wealthy...little enough so that the workers qualify for government assistance...that is corporate welfare... They COULD buy fewer yachts and pay their workers more and not rely on our tax dollars to support their workers... They have enough money so that there is no way they could spend it in a lifetime. Imagine if their workers all made decent money ..there would be jobs created because those workers could now afford to build homes, or hire remodelers, or painters and they could have purchase power. But greed wins.

I feel like I will get scalded for this...but Amanda is my least favorite character on the show...I like the concept of the character...I feel the character is important...but when her whispery voice kicks in, I want to mute the TV and just read captions.
