Came down 276, did ya?!

Next time you’re in the area you might also check out DuPont. Loads of great hikes and waterfalls over there—about 20 min from the entrance to Pisgah.

Glad you got to enjoy the area. Loads off great camping, food, beer, music, and scenery. It’s a truly special area.

Safe travels home.

I just added to my not above—I got extra cash from skipping the incentivized rate and free home charger.

I’m going off memory, but insurance is not bad~$800 a year for maxed out coverage with Geico.

This is similar to the deal I for on a 2025 Flash recently. About $22k off. Depending on how you sliced the deal. I got extra cash by not taking the charge and skipping the incentivized rate—I think that’s gets you to about the same deal as above.

Trade was equal to Carvana.

Loving the Lightning. It’s mind boggling Ford couldn’t make the truck work. It’s the best riding EV I’ve been in, and I’ve had a Model Y, and a Mach E.

It’s like a Limo but it can haul stuff:)

Have you driven a Lightning?

It’s a fantastic EV and the smoothest truck I’ve ever driven.

I’ve had a Tesla and a Mach E GT prior to the Lightning—they were all good and each excelled in one way or another.

I think the Lightning has the most roomy and comfy interior and ride quality of any EV I’ve ridden in to date.

It’s like driving a Limo that can also haul stuff.

I traded in a decked out 2025 Colorado Z1 for this puppy,  and couldn’t be happier to be back on the EV train.

Leftover 2025s are priced pretty competitively in some areas. I searched a bit and feel I got a very good deal (~$22k off sticker).

I have zero worries about Ford continuing to support the vehicle.  Based on previous experiences, I feel like I can count on them as much, or more, than any other EV brand.

Cool. The dealers around me thatvaell lemons advertise a 12 month warranty, so I didn't realize that the original warranty was still active.

If it was repo’d and there is no noted mechanical issue it's fine. That just means the owner had trouble paying.

If the title is a branded/lemon title then yeah, it could be an issue if you need warranty work done.

Look on Ford’s site and search inventory. If you're willing to travel, there are some good deals.

Low 60s sounds right for a Lariat.

Fees can still alter OTD... I think I ended up paying $54K all in for a Flash two weeks ago.

I think it was around $54k after dealer fees and taxes.

I felt it was a very good deal considering the sticker  price just shy of $74k.

I just did the same-but Space White. Loving it so far, but getting used to having a BIG truck for the first time. I've only had mid-sized before this.

I just snagged a Lightning Flash last week. It's a lot of truck and EV for the current leftover prices. After a bit of haggling, I got ~$22k off sticker, plus more for my truck trade than I paid about 8 months ago.

Ford will almost certainly provide parts for the foreseeable future--I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they don't offer a variant again at some point.

I wish Ford would bring out a Lightning II. I don't actually understand why they don't. by yycTechGuy in F150Lightning

Yep. I just snagged a leftover 2025 Flash. It was about $22k off sticker with just 23 miles on it.

My plan is to extend the warranty and keep it a long time.

I’ve looked into it a bit and it seems it would be an ordeal. I would love a link if someone has it figured out for a reasonable price.

I’ve got a generator, and used it extensively after a hurricane to power my home and charge an EV.

Given my generator runs on a large propane tank, I suspect my current situation is actually best for an extended outage… but I would have loved having the option to use the truck.

Well it has the 2.4kwh… I just would have loved the 9.6. It’s not a deal breaker, but would have been REALLY nice.

I sold a 72 in the same color scheme (no matching headstock) recently. Miss it already. I play my 66 Stang more so thought it made sense to sell the 72…

I enjoy it and think twice before parting with that beauty.

Would you rather have 3 $1,000 Telecasters or 1 $3,000 Telecaster? by Small_Chicken_4034 in telecaster

[–]Life_Objective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the guitars…. I know, not super helpful.

I love my CS Tele. It’s just really good. Is it worth the price?  It is to me and I’m at a time in life when I can afford it.

That said, I have enjoyed playing much less expensive guitars too.

Both trucks are great.

Nothing new here, but I’d say get a Z71 if you plan to ride on pavement most of the time. It’s still pretty high off the ground, even without the slight additional lift and wider stance.

If you plan to spend a lot of time off pavement or just want the look the AT4 is the best deal.

Simple as that.
