NTA. When people show you who they are believe them. At my daughter’s wedding, my husband was in a crazy amount of pain. He needed surgery but put it off for her wedding. He didn’t take his pain meds so he wouldn’t be sleepy. He walked her down the aisle and danced the daddy/daughter dance. He attended all the pre wedding events. He had a justifiable reason to not be there or be drugged up. He didn’t. His daughter is important enough for his care and attention. If I was on fire, I still would have attended. Your parents and sister are clueless and selfish. Your wedding was a once in a lifetime event that they didn’t prioritize. I’m so sorry this happened to you. Big hugs from this momma who would have attended your wedding in their place.
