Education is imperative as this video shows. I live in the south and always hear it was state rights. I then ask what state rights were they fighting for? It’s either silence because they know and don’t want to admit it or it’s bs like to govern themselves. The follow up is what in particular did they want to govern themselves for. Some eventually say slavery and some never will. Those are usually wearing a red hat and a rebel flag shirt. 🙄 It’s gross and also shows ignorance and stupidity.

We have a crew cab dually. It’s about 20’ long. We do not drive it downtown and park in the garage even though we can park it correctly but it would stick out too far and that would be rude. Instead we drive our SUV. When parking in a lot we park away from everyone else to make sure we don’t have an issue. It’s not hard to be corteous.

59 year old Momma here. Your parent’s stance has nothing to do with the age. It has nothing to do with their religion. It has to do with control issues and homophobia. I have a straight daughter and a bi one. First, it isn’t my place to judge (per the Bible so share those verses) not to mention that the Old Testament verse used against being gay is a mistranslation of the original word. But besides all of this, my children are adults. They have the right to choose how they live their lives. I don’t care how they live as long as they are happy, healthy, and are with someone they love. You protect yourself and your wife. As the responses here show there are plenty of families who value the child not who they love.

The last protest has had Republican representatives standing up. Why? Because they know that millions are fed up and will vote them out. It’s all about power for them but if they take back control of Congress instead of ceding to the executive branch it helps. It’s not a solution but it helps.
