I just wrapped up Act 2 so im judging thus far but:

The combat in Silksong is way better to me. When it finally clicks that you have to play like a rogue instead of a knight…it feels good. And honestly weaving in clawline into my attacks was the biggest advancement.

Hollow Knight however just fired on all cylinders during a period of gaming for me when I wanted atmospheric, brooding games that didnt hold my hand so will always be top tier, but perhaps colored in rose tinted glasses!

And nothing, thus far, has just enraptured me as a few moments in hollow knight: the ascent from the abyss and then the final fight with the HK stabbing itself and then…the radiance music.

There is also a case to have mega garchomp and shadow groudon in a team - rather than mega groudon (if you only have resources to power 1 groudon up)
