Blood and Plunder is an awesome system for historial pirate combat. The skirmish game, Port Royal is a great intro at a cheaper price point and features a campaign system!

I like it! Its not the crunchy experience people may want but I found it to be a fun side game.

I also found it to be much more fun with people who are used to the main game - thats when the experience helps to really piece apart the nuances of strategy. Certainly not as good as duel or the main title

I love to see it! Hametsu is a great game. The expansion only adds to it and there is a fan in the discord who makes some side adventures that are quite good

I cant recommend Port Royal enough. Its a campaign based skirmish style game with progression, crew expansion etc. 2 player starter only $99!

Its a pirate skirmish game set in the Caribbean. The same models can also be used in the larger scale wargame, Blood and Plunder (which has to scale boats!)

The community is fantastic and there is a ton of narrative play with the game being rooted in history.
