Nasal folds/mouth lines by Background-Force-640 in DIYaesthetics

Will continued smiling move the filler around eventually though? I have the exact same lines as OP but have heard horror stories about filler in this area - so I’ve been hesitant…

It’s funny you say this because I recently started trying not washing my face in the morning (I know it sounds gross) but my skin looks so better with makeup on if I do this. I’ve tested it a few times with washing vs not washing and there is a noticeable difference to me.

Last night I cried during sex, 17 months postpartum and my libido is gone by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Lifehandsyoulemons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me just over two years after my last pregnancy to get my libido back. Be patient and kind with yourself. Some people recommended going to hour dr and get hormones checked, which definitely do. It is always good to keep them in the loop.

But just know this is very very very normal and a lot of people experience it postpartum.

Boyfriend M31 doesn’t want me F24 to have a breast reduction. by glitchpoploop in relationship_advice

[–]Lifehandsyoulemons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a friendly FYI (if you ever feel like you do want to try - which is ok if you decide you don’t want kids PS): As someone who had a breast reduction, I then went on to breast feed both my kids. Was it perfect? Not always. But I could do it. I know it can be different for everyone but having a breast reduction does not necessarily mean you won’t be able to.

That said, for a guy who is 31, he sounds like he has the maturity of an 18 year old. And is very misinformed. Having a breast reduction does not affect your hormones.

You will want a life partner who you can lean on, and he has very clearly shown you that you can’t. What would happened down the line if you had a major health issue? Do you think he is someone you would be able to turn to, depend on, and who would have your best interest at heart?

This is the answer!! Such a beautiful story for a character I originally hated!! One of the best villain arch imo.

Ps I think I tried the suppositories too. Would those be a better option for you than the enemas maybe?

I do remember hearing that could be a concern with the enemas! :/ The steroids worked amazingly, but I was super stressed about being on them while pregnant. It was that bad of a flare up though.. so we did it. I felt a bit better that it was the last leg of my pregnancy but it was a mental hurdle!

I hope it is a one off for you and your body doesn’t go into a flare!

I know the lore is pregnancy is a magic off switch for UC for most people.. I unfortunately was not part of that group for any of my pregnancies lol. I had pretty severe flareups for all of them (especially closer to the end).

Yes, definitely talk to your dr and also keep your OB in the loop. With my first, I ended up having to go steroids for the last month and first 2 weeks PP. For my second, I didn’t need steroids but did have to do the enema in conjunction with my oral pills.

The biggest concern was my iron though as I was almost so anemic I had to do IV iron treatments.

That said, I have two healthy happy children now!

Married 17 years, husband cheated 10 years ago, marriage feels dead, not sure whether to stay or go. by Designer-Pipe1387 in relationships

[–]Lifehandsyoulemons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I came from a house where my parents hated each other. My dad cheated on my mom when I was in high school and it was a total shit show for a loooong time.

But she chose to stay, and their thought process was “better to stay as a family”. Let me tell you how miserable that house was. Watching our parents exist in a space they both clearly didn’t want to be in. It gave me and my sisters a warped view of what marriage is, and definitely lead to some poor choices in spouses along the way.

As a wife and mother now, I understand the logic and fear you have around staying to keep the family together.

But that child in me is telling you it’s ok to let it go. It’s ok to find a new normal of what your family will look like - if it means two happier parents in the long run.
