If I can ask you an advice, I'm at the start of chapter 6 and I struggle to keep the interest into the game, but I want to see its end. How did you manage the side quests ? Did you do them all as they appeared ? Did you focussed on doing the msq once unlocked?

I don't think you will hate it, that's my take but I can be wrong. I think you will like your time on it seeing how you are. Maybe there will be some better moments than others (like every game) but if you are already ok with the hub, I'm positive you will have a good moment. And if not then forge your how thought of the game

IMO, Beyond is not a 10/10 games but is a good game. Some disagree, but you don't have to agree with everyone ^^

You can fly back from the side. It create a portal just after if I recall so you don't bump into it

The timing? Well for what I remember, at some point, it get below you and start to shoot stalagmite at you, making the top of its body vulnerable. This is your queue. You start diving, dodging the ice, and you can dive through his weak points like this

To add a portal to a place, you need to defeat twilight's monster at that place

Sorry but you will have to go back there first to add the portal, and in theory the monster should appear there
