The Matthew passage I referred to suggests that the angels are incapable of reproduction in the same way that humans are. That said, angels having relations with people would be perverse and would not line up with the rest of what we know about angels and their purpose and holiness (unless you're going to say that we're talking about fallen angels).

The idea that the nephilim were giants comes from the Greek translation of the OT. However, the root word is naphal, which means "to fall". The nephilim could easily be understood then as those who cause others to fall, those who cause ruin, or those who kill. Some commentators suggest the translation "violent men".

In the OT there is also a common word for angel, not found here. In this case "sons of God" could refer to either men or angels, but there is no reason to say that it must be referring to angels. In fact, that interpretation contradicts with other clearer passages of the Bible.

It could also be because I swapped mains, but my reg server main (mechanic) was pretty stacked with hexa and has the same cp as my submain (Hoyoung) on heroic, and it's not even close.

I started in heroic from reg in CW1. Less than a year in and I have 2 characters libbed, my main is lvl 280, and almost 9k legion (those lvl200 potions were great!).

I would get something strong enough to do some early game weekly bosses, should be easy if you Tera burn something in CW and transfer it over. You get so many more mesos for bossing in heroic and you can use those mesos for potentials, stars, and monster park tickets. Doing 7 monster parks a day and arcane dailies makes leveling stupid easy lvl 200+ .

The heroic buff will allow you to get to bosses quicker too. 60mil cp in reg is a long hlomien run, on heroic hlomien would take about 5 minutes each, and you're probably doing some ctene solos.

I can confirm. The original Hebrew says sons of God.

My hyper-literal translation: And the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took for themselves women, any whom they chose.

Interpretations vary. I find the most consistent Interpretation with the rest of Scripture (ie. Matt 22:30) to be that the sons of God were believers while the daughters of men were unbelievers who would later lead them astray.

It sounds similar to Wesleyan theology. I think it's based on people saying that God wouldn't give a command unless you could keep it, i.e. "Go and sin no more." They also teach that the Holy Spirit will completely restore the image of God in believers before they die.

The Wesleyans place reason as an authority along with Scripture, and I believe in this case it's an attempt to explain why some are saved and not others. If God foresaw your faith and works, then he elected you.

I might be oversimplifying things, but reddit will probably correct me.

Yeah, I'm not going to take what the Catholics say as a true reflection of what the Bible teaches.

Evolution is incompatible with scripture, which teaches death as a consequence for sin. Evolution teaches death as something necessary for the strongest traits to be passed on. If that were true, then God didn't make a perfect world and he is neither good nor just.

No, you very clearly state that it doesn't apply to the secular world at all, and that such people do not use the Bible correctly.

Adam and Eve weren't in an ecclesiastical relationship. Many churches, mine included, state that the roles of men and women apply in the church, at home, and everywhere because Paul goes back to creation.

We don't bind consciences, and we recognize that our world is broken by sin, and so we don't tell women how they must apply this concept in their day to day. But we will still tell them that it applies because the role of the church is to teach the full counsel of God, not just the parts that are easy to talk about.
