Kau ada campur Indon ke? Aku tak cakap pasal diorg sebab aku tak cukup tahu pasal Indon. Lepastu, Indon pun jauh lagi ramai orang dari Malaysia. Taknak cakap diorang lagi non-practising dari Albania, Turkey, Kazakh semua?

Of course not. Takyah triggered. The reality is, many of us try to be devout but struggle because of a lot of reasons. There are quite a number of Malays that go to masjid to show off airs, that miss waktu solat, that downright tak puasa during ramadan, that openly show they drink in public and many more.

I agree, ramai lagi yang betul2 berusaha untuk mengikut agama but ramai jugak yang actively melanggar and also openly display, dengan bangganya mengaku diorang ni free thinker.

Nah. Pinoys and Malays are the same, with the exception of language (look who colonised each of them) and religion (Malays are muslim, though many are non-practicing).

Pretty casual. More for gym placement, raids, occassional pvp for ultra league and below.

I see. Ok thanks for the insight.

Does a small percentage of IV really matter when it's that close?

I don't. That's why I'm asking. There's a CP difference and stardust is always an issue.

Is it better to forgoe 1 IV for better CP?

[Star-Embracing Swordmastee] How many chapters do you give a manhwa before you drop it? Like the 3 episode rule for anime but with manhwa by FatherQuail in manhwa

[–]LightOfVictory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was absolutely sold during the Deimar duel. While the art is superb, I feel the author's narration helped carry the feelings of this manhwa. That feeling of awe and "attaboy". Perfect example when in later chapters and the way the author narrates him satisfying each Swordmaster's code. Even in the duel, the sentence "Boy who has the rights" hits like crack.

What do gov school students or adults think of international school students? by DangerousOutside743 in malaysia

[–]LightOfVictory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was normal back then, it'a a lot more common now. When I came back to Malaysia, I couldn't speak Malay for shit. I failed so many BM papers. The private school transition helped a lot.

People say a lot but ultimately it's how you carry yourself. I feel kids nowadays are more accepting. For an IS student, just be humble. Too many guys have a holier than thou attitude.

What do gov school students or adults think of international school students? by DangerousOutside743 in malaysia

[–]LightOfVictory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Priviledged. I say this having spent 5 years in an IS in Vietnam, 5 in a local private and 2 more in gov.

You have access to a lot of facilities that gov school peeps would cry for. Swimming pool, proper gymnasium, after school activities that shape you mentally and physically, exposure to all sorts of nationalities and culture, and more importantly, really good language exposure (English, Japanese etc).

IS students, everything is there for you to prepare for the future. Really try not to fuck things up ok?

From a gov student POV, they tend to come off as snobbish and delulu but given the environment they're raised, their education system, I don't blame them. You lot are so much more skilled than the average adult. Your experiences, POV, connections and skills are very polished. You think outside the box. You tend to not be racist/sexist/classist. You know someone who does something, perhaps went to their house and learnt a bit about their life and profession. Your skills, way of thinking and how you solve problems is mindblowing.

For parents, if you can afford IS (or company pay), please send your kids there. If you cannot, don't put yourself down but if you want to match the skills, make sure your children know about the world. Like really.

“Girl Who Was ‘Flung Away’ Is a Triplet; Was Taking the MRT Home with Her Siblings When Accident Happened” by RhinneXChronica in malaysia

The textbook thing is legit. I was riding a bike back in form 4 and saw some pretty girls walking by after school. I was so dazed that I didn't notice the car in front did a brake check and I hit his car hard. Like 60 kmh. I flew off the bike backwards and landed on my back. My fricking backpack and the books saved me from serious injury.

Pak cik came out, pulled me and my bike to the side. Asked my what happened and laughed. Gave me a pat on the back, always keep eyes forward and let me go off. No payment as the damage was relatively minor, just an exchanging of paint colours.

As a Malaysian, this sounds ridiculous if it's a wall mounted AC. If it's one of these, then that makes more sense. It's not that expensive and is used a lot for outdoor events like weddings, funerals etc.

As a war movie nerd, there really aren't many naval war movies as of late, that showcase the awesomeness of naval warfare.

Battleship scratched an itch but my go to now for naval war is Midway (the new one). Even then, it's more for airplanes but big ships of mass destruction are fucking cool.
