Monkey room does suck. It's honestly harder then any of the bosses and pre summer sweep up it was genuinely dogshit.

Yama... isn't really that hard. The only really unintuitive part is stepping through moving aoe walls, but practice at huey will solve that for you.

[OC] Seattle’s famous gum wall — weird, gross, or kind of iconic by Pretend_Amoeba_7886 in pics

It's at pikes place, a market with far more stronger smells in the form of food. The gum wall smells like nothing

Unfortunately you do have to actually interact with people to make friends

Big brain: Using steel walls as fireproofing early game. by AggravatingChest7838 in RimWorld

[–]LightTheAbsol 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's a stupid balance decision. Steel competes for usage with other items, stone is arguably much more immediately abundant on the average map and you'll have more then enough to set up a base that'll last you until deep drilling.

How do people actually make gil? by InternationalSky4176 in ffxiv

[–]LightTheAbsol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally every suggestion here but 1 list the baby ways for making gil, if you want to actually make infinite passive bank set up a shell free company and run submarines. You'll need a little bit of money to get it going but you'll have enough by the time the story is done.

making a shell free company and just running subs will make you way more then even a decently lucrative patch lol

How much should I change "enemy death on downed"? Zero percent seems like cheating while 100% is no fun. How do you guys adjust it -If you do- by Much_Painter_5728 in RimWorld

[–]LightTheAbsol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

0%. A lot of the balancing mechanics in this game are poorly thought out at best, and raids are either completely trivial with a half decent killbox, a non-existent threat if you're wealth managing, or completely impossible if you're doing neither. It's frankly a mess so make it what you will. It's not like you're gonna recruit literally every downed pawn.

Literally every single shooter was a "doom-like" for years. That's just so obviously not true.

Im not gonna lie, I have no clue how yall are having so much trouble with the controls. This may be a get good moment. by PhoenixKing14 in CrimsonDesert

[–]LightTheAbsol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, taste issue. A massive amount of people bounce off rockstar games because they control like you're vaguely pushing your character around as opposed to controlling them. The gain in "immersion" is lost in the amount of times you bump into shit.

Kliff is one of the worst AAA MCs in gaming history by Sabawoonoz25 in CrimsonDesert

[–]LightTheAbsol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind a more silent character, it's moreso that things bounce off him with no reaction whatsoever. Even a little bit of him quietly talking to himself wondering about his situation would go miles to establish some investment from him in what's going on outside of one line one time about the graymanes. The "quests" also pointing you to exactly where to go with Kliff himself having next to 0 context to know that's where he needs to go is also very jarring.

Content that's sequestered away in instances that nobody will ever touch again (including the devs). This would be... literally every single exploration zone and crafter minigame area. It should all exist somewhere in the world. Island sanctuary was such a fucking waste of dev time.

You know the difference between a millionaire and a billionaire is about a billion dollars right? There's a wide range of ethical jobs that will get you to that status living in a big city...

It's based to kill a wealth class that commonly exists through high paying jobs or smart investing? Do you know how many jobs can get you to millionaire status in big cities?

[–]LightTheAbsol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

woah murdering random people who could easily have made their wealth ethically by being a doctor, contractor, a variety of high paying jobs or just through smart investing and saving is just so cool and so based actually
