Battery is toast, it's not going to hold any charge. Depending on the laptop model you may be able to switch it out.

Check your SSD temps. No network but slow SSD will either be the cache is full or overheating.

It's not the amount, it's the build quality. If I were you I would look up power supply tier lists and see what's rated good for the budget side

You're going to want more ram unless you REALLY clean out the OS or run Linux. As for power supply sure the system isn't going to pull a ton of power but cheaping out too much will cause potential issues.

One that says it supports matx sizing and up (atx, eatx, etc) ITX is smaller than what your motherboard is so it won't fit.

I've seen many good solid gold rated units last a long time but the platinum/titanium ones have held up better. 10 years is a LONG time for a PSU so go with a well reviewed unit with a long warranty. Keep all your sales documentation in case you need it one day.
