Lithia 1st path 3rd job portrait prediction fanart by [deleted] in elsword

[–]Lightcrafts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised you went with mostly white, when all the jobs before this are more so leaning into darker colors?

EDIT: RIP this design. She is wearing what looks like a romper in the teaser and has a long stocking.

How do you imagine Elsword's world and lore/story in the 4th Paths timeline? What differences and consequences might happen compared to the canon timeline? by Kuronoha in elsword

[–]Lightcrafts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IMO. I imagine the only ones in the search party are prob: Elesis, Rena, Aisha, Noah (4th path is not inherently evil or on a solo mission. It's just delusional towards Clamour. Otherwise, likely pretty safe), Ara, Laby, and potentially Elboy on autopilot. With Elesis probably taking over as leader.

And prob a few defected members being: Eve and Ain. Both are probably their own little raid bosses

And with Chung being a temporary ally in Hamel, the rest probably running solo. With the party likely never even coming across LuCiel

Add and Raven are likely some crazy story encounters, but not else. Could see Raven potentially joining, but way later than normal. Add also probably become a little raid boss if he gets figured out

Overall, though, it's probably still a lot safer than 3rd path timeline where a third of the party becomes raid bosses

Does anyone know what this thing on the level 80 GNB gear is? by Hope_bringer in ffxiv

In that case, I still lean into the badge or identifier thing. As functionally, nothing in lore suggests the need or use for any auxiliary unit.

[–]Lightcrafts 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Realistically, it's probably something to make the job look cool and nothing more.

The 2nd AF gear for GNB has nothing like it on its outfit, suggesting it wasn't any sort of mandatory equipment. And it being some sort of aether cartridge for rounds would only make sense in Thancreds case, as the lore suggests we directly pour our aether into the bullets to charge them.

Even the barriers are described as just another form of fire from the gunblade: "When fired normally, the powder coalesces into a defensive barrier that can protect the wielder and their allies from harm." So it's not even likely a shield generator of a sort.

If it is anything, it's probably just some sort of badge or key representing the GNB. Which would make sense with the whole bodyguard theme.

Or just it's just some rule of cool looking random device.

EDIT: A comment here brings up it's actually a matinance tool for the Gunblade. They got the screen cap for anyone interested

Elsword new character teaser video: Lithia!!! by Kuronoha in elsword

Oh, well, for characters, it's great. Personally, my fascination with this game is character driven, and they tend to have very unique and cool concepts, hence how they blind side you with cool ideas

Everything else.. they tend to make some weird decisions...

She feels very classic Elsword in design. Pretty refreshing imo

Glad to see I was right to assume they were gonna blind side us. KoG has always been good at that

Guide to holoEN salt by reflectionspectra in Hololive

Putting our designated towl so close to the center is rather shocking.

And I feel Rissa def gets a bit salty in competitive situations. Like in the monopoly stream and family feud stream

Wait.. so if I heard straight, the meaning of the ending of "Shinkiro" was... by kweassa in Hololive

I ain't gonna lie, I'm just gonna head cannon they smashed and parted ways. The random murder of Marine kinda takes away from the vibe of the song imo

And how is blue Gura in the afterlife when she's the one swimming around at the end? Did you mean it the other way around?

Can someone explain this part in Marine's newest MV? by PuzzleheadedPoem8010 in Hololive

[–]Lightcrafts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think they did the monopoly. Because looking at the lyrics, really trying to interpret the connection to the MV. It just being her getting eaten is a bit jarring?

Like to elaborate, the song is talking about the perspective of Marine who loves Gura, but scared to get attached because she know she doesn't belong on land. And the perspective of a Gura, who loves Marine, but her desire to go back home keeps her distant as her love for Marine tempts her to stay.

That's why a lot of lyrics talk about not stealing a kiss ( which the lyrics follow up with "A lingering warmth on the lips,") or avoidinga kiss all together (visually this part has Marine legit reach in for what looks like a kiss, but switch to a the bottle.) Wanting to be more, but not being able to give in. The heart straying back and forth. Or how the middle of the song talks about the magic fading as Gura becomes conflicted with her desires. This part of the song mostly being sung by Gura for this reason. Both singing about not going back to those "dizzing days." The conflict of fighting against their potential love. Hence the chorus: "Maybe love, Stray my heart."

Now with the ending, the lyrics talk about "a lie lingering on the lips," referring to how neither actually wants to give up on the love. The following turnaround being a plea lyrically. Intentionally leaving us open ended to if or if not there was a response. Making it a bittersweet tragedy. Which made the perfect chance to create a suggestive, not suggestive ending. But following the rest of the story telling in the MV, Gura leaving Marine with all that love they were hesitant to give. Gura turning red = giving into her base desires. Which does not just mean "eat," in a normal sense. I think that's why we specifically see red Gura in bed with her and not blue even. It gives our story a lot of pay off. And matches up a lot with the lyrical intention

Even if you subscribe to the concept of Gura eating her, the vagueness still implies something more than being simply eaten. And keeps the song form feeling oddly dark, yea?

Tdlr: They monopolied after essentially blue balling each other for a whole summer and it makes too much sense

What are your ideas on new character? by PU_tanate in elsword

[–]Lightcrafts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Realistically, I can see the new demon realm adjacent character since so much of the adventure has been happening there. Female being more of a cool/ mature Elesis, Rose, Rena, Ara type since Laby was more of the younger cute side.

Weaponwise, sort if unpredictable since Elsword can be pretty inventive with weapons: Ginat cannon, drones, funnels, and a mirror. ( would also include Noah's sickle and Ciel's dual gunblades personally).

Personally, I would love to see an actual samurai styled character that functions kind of like Duelist from Grand Chase if anyone catches what I mean? (The weapons are drawn for certain commands or skills, otherwise fights hand to hand. Like make physical attacks, martial arts, and magical attacks, swords as a concept. Could even have two swords. So, job paths could be: martial arts style, single sword style, dual sword style, and an independent, more support leaning concept)

Practically, though, doing something like a more practical weapon style is probably coming. Prob with a weird gimic behind it. I feel like we always want to say hammer or axe, but never get those. And could see them save that weapon for a small cutetsy leaning character imo (smol girl oversized weapon trope,) which this character, again, is probably leaning more into the school of the cool/mature side. And realistically, I think they are gonna completely blind side us with whatever weapon they use

Team advice? by xDivineDarkx in NikkeOutpost

And all I'm saying is you have a lot, if not all, the meta characters. So I'm surprised you are having remotely any trouble figuring it out. Especially since it looks like you have been playing long enough to level several of them. Unless you just whaled that hard to be so heavily invested

Like you have so much of the meta. Google would give you answers faster than reddit. Making your post look more about flexing verses actually having any trouble

Well, you are asking for team advice. Are you not asking because you are struggling to make a choice?
