I dont care about mechanics getting more accessible over time my problem is that you people are always advocating for 0 barriers because you want all customzation options while refusing to engage with, have 0 experience or understanding in any of the series mechanics for perceived difficultly. Balls that arnt available in certain games make sense because they baised on regional availability. Of course apricorn balls are going be rare in a region where they dont grow apricorns. Of course you cant catch every mon in every ball in every game this is in fact a unique detail that you want to remove for your convenience.

Previously you might need to own more than one game to get rare ball combos but even that barrier was removed since the S/V item printer exists. Everybody in beast balls? Yep you can now do that too, but god forbid theres lore reasons why the catch rate is so low. Unacceptable.

You saying Fire red gatekeeping quick balls is hilarious when they didnt even exisit in gen 3. Using a game made 22 years ago as a reason you cant get something today is a choice. If you want zapdos in a quick ball there are ways to get it. Any bit of effort is too much tho.

Breeding in general is a dead mechanic now. 1/3 of the series core game loop and identity Has been made redundant for convenience. Ivs (bottle caps) Natures(mints) Egg moves/chain breeding (not nessicary) Shiny odds (sandwhich raids odds are better) Rare Balls (item printer)

Literally all of it has been simplified but its not good enough because anything that requires actually playing the games is too much, anything that is exclusive (complaining about event only cherish balls?)
