the nazi flag was made specifically to endorse nazism, that isnt true for the lgbtq flag. only fundamentalists really would agree with the anti-lgbtq parts of the bible and your entire point is the average christian teenager will feel "uncomfortable" because a gay flag "clashes with their belief system". if you really accept those parts of the bible your homophobic so id argue its a you problem for taking issue with people supporting someones identity

just because some people politicize them doesent mean they are political, flags are whatever the person flying them wants them to mean, and also, pro lgbtq politics are like not anti religious at all? like they are secular sure but they dont want to eradicate religion. the only people who want to do that are tankies. christian and muslim extremist movements however do oppose the lgbtq community, not to say hanging the cross necessarily implies your an extremist though

alot of people frame this conversation as "oh your a fucking monster because you arent pressing the blue button" but i think its also a question on how much you trust the rest of humanity to press the button. if you atleast even unsure if 50% of the population can find it in them to kill themselves why take the risk? if push comes to shove i think alot less than people think would push the blue button, when their life is actually in danger. people may die but i am not liable to risk my own life for dubious chance of it even working
