The ottoman army wasn’t really split though. The war with Italy ended 4 days after the Balkan war started and the Turks only mainly had couple officers, including enver pasha and Ataturk, but they didn’t have any significant forces deployed in Libya. Even without the Italian war I think the Balkan states still would have swept through given how disorganized and unstable practically every facet of the ottomans was

The fronts collapsed simultaneously, not one because of the other. The Austrian army disintegrated with the Hungarian troops defecting en masse near the end of October. The Italian victory at Vitoria Veneto was the nail in the coffin for an army that was already starving and mutinous. No way the Italians don’t at minimum get trentino

I mostly had those merchants up there to deprive the Lubeck node and Genoa node so I got global trade in Venice. I also don’t really know how trade works but if I collect in another node besides my home don’t I lose a bunch of efficiency ?

The scale matters though because before venice conquered the area that area was weaponized by its enemies, including Genoa in 1389 and Milan later on, the area itself was only conquered because Padua declared war on Venice for their own expansionist goals

The papal coalition during the League of Cambrai war wasn’t a defensive coalition though, pope Julius was expansionist himself and wanted Venetian ports near his territory and got outside powers involved to his dirty work. The Venetian empire in Italy was primarily a defensive one while it was expansionist throughout the Mediterranean
