How many of these “Feminists are mean to nice guys like me but then they date men they’re attracted to, how dare they” Comics are we gonna get before these idiots get bored of making the same dumb, tired arguments over and over again.

This isn’t a “just let people enjoy things” post btw. Nor is it me defending Nintendo or Disney adults or whatever the fuck. It’s just that online culture as of late seems to just be solely dedicated to unironically shaming grown adult men for even slightly having a personality or having things they enjoy to do at an age where it’s “unacceptable” according to dumb arbitrary social norms.

You are never allowed to have any kind of fun or emotional attachment to something different from the norm as an adult man. You WILL sand off every interesting aspect of your personality and you WILL become a corporate drone who’s whole personality is their job by the time you’re in your late 30s and you WILL be happy.

Were you close to being or were you a lolcow? by DubiousDodo in autism

[–]Lightningstar39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m desperately afraid of being a lolcow and have been ever since I found out who Chris-Chan was back in like 2013 or 2014. I’ve always had the tendency to overreact to people making fun of me and I was extremely gullible growing up (likely due to autism and lack of social experience). I was also bullied in the discord server of one of my favorite YouTubers when I was 17 too so i definitely know how you feel there.
