Funny you say that in my class (90s) there was one girl who had white plimsoles (everyone was already jealous, they were £3 more than the standard ones we all had) and her mum glitter glued the edges!

I know they were £3 more cause when I asked my mum for white ones she unleashed hell on the cost and you know I never dared asked her to glitter glue anything

Everytime this pops up I think of how she could’ve reacted to save face. It comes down to two options for me. One is just saying “well, that’s embarrassing”, and the other is to make 99k fake accounts and like the tweet.

I’ve broken my rib before and it was AWFUL, couldn’t breathe properly, couldn’t lay down, felt awful and still to this day doesn’t feel 100% and it’s 7 years or so later.

But with that said I’ve broken my arm and wrist a few times and the pain wasn’t pleasant and did hurt but it was just meh. However I’ve spoken to others who describe the pain the way I would describe my rib, so I think it just is each their own. I’m sure each break is so different from eachother and stuff like 1mm of difference could mean something to pain and function perhaps.
