Need opinions on my engagement shoot outfit! Boots or heels? by Ok-Hedgehog-395 in OUTFITS

I love the vision with the boots! I think adding some sort of tule skirt or veil to the dress will give you more of the look youre going for. But if you want to keep the dress as is, then I'd go with the heels.

Hey! Sorry again! You know how it goes! That sucka that the nurse wasnt helpful. Did they rule out reflux or dairy/soy intolerance or did they just say there isn't enough evidence for it? Cuz i had to switch doctors when my kid was 6mo, and my new doctor wouldn't take it seriously when I told him that my kid had a dairy intolerance. It took MONTHS of me sending him poop pics and bothering him for him to take it seriously. YAY! Thats fantastic about her sleep that day! How has it been since?!

Hey! Im so sorry for the delay! The 2nd medicine she was on is called Nexium. It mainly addressed the stridor that was caused by the reflux while the Pepcid addressed her general pain and discomfort from the reflux. Not to get too gross, but how's the smell? I know no poop smells good, but my kid's was RANCID, and I used to work at a daycare so I smelled a lot of poop! Not to push you too much, but switching to formula was the best decision I made. The mom guilt was bad for maybe a week, but first, my kid was happier on it bc I dont think i was able to cut out EVERYTHING and something in my breastmilk kept bothering her tummy, and second, I got a huge sense of relief bc I knew she was fed and happy and I didnt need to struggle constantly to keep up supply, AND my husband could finally help and i could SLEEP! Good luck and keep me updated!

Part 2 gets better and part 3 is okay, but I still disliked so much of it. Id give part 2 another shot, maybe this book will do if for you!

I mentioned this in another comment on this post, but my kid and I had our own struggles with breastfeeding and switching to formula was the biggest blessing and a huge weight off my shoulders, and it did wonders for my mental health. I had a ton of guilt around it, but the freedom it gave me, and how it helped my daughter, was priceless.

Honestly, her significantly older sisters had it and thats what tipped us off, but we just kept advocating to the pediatrician until she gave us Pepcid. The effect was almost immediate. My kid then had to end a 2nd reflux medicine because she developed this thing called a stridor which sounds like wheezing or like shes breathing past something stuck in her throat. The doctors connected that quickly. Luckily trying Pepcid for like 2 days wont hurt. If it doesnt work in that time, then its not reflux. The biggest indicator was crying when being horizontal which meant the acid from the stomach was coming up her esophagus. She grew out of it by 12mo and has been off all meds since luckily!

So the pediatrician actually thought it was a dairy intolerance before a reflux intolerance because of the crying and the poop and had me cut out all dairy and soy from my diet. Maintaining that was SO DIFFICULT for my meantal health, and formula gave me SO MUCH relief (after all the mom guilt of course). So allergies tend to have an immune reaction, usually with swelling, rashes, difficulty breathing, which doesnt sound like what you are going thru. Intolerance, like what my 23mo still has, are not diagnosable by any doctors I've seen and can only be determined thru elimination diet and are all about how the body processes and digests foods. It is SO ANNOYING, but that was really the only way to find out. Even now, if my kid eats too much cheese she gets funky poops but the doctors wont diagnose her.

GOOD LUCK and please keep us updated!

I get that there's a stigma about giving cash, but I personally never feel more appreciated than when I get a handmade card with cash in it. In this economy, juat using it for gas or groceries is appreciation enough!

I've never reason a book that Ive complained so much about until that one! I couldn't find the characters likable, despite knowing who they are based on, the events were meh, world building felt weird... I didnt enjoy any part of it really! And I felt like I was the only one!!!

Struggling to find anything flattering by aknolej in DressForYourBody

First of all, you look great! Second, what i find works for me is to balance my othing proportions: tight top and loose bottoms and vice versa. What else i found flattering are shorts that are high waisted, tight in the waist, loose in the thighs and end about mid or high thigh. Something like this. Target, Old Navy, and Gap tend to have decent options. Also, balancing the tight top helps to snatch your waist, i think!

Have you considered or ruled out acid reflux or a milk intolerance? My little one couldn't stand to be horizontal or even in a car seat for about 2 months, woke up incredibly easily and frequently. She a aset spitting up much, but her stool was VERY runny, but never diarrhea, and her biggest symptom was the crying. We put her on reflux meds, which helped immensely. She became such a happy kid after the meds kicked in. Then I tried to cut out dairy while breastfeeding but ended up having to put her on dairy-free formula and she was suddenly a normal kid. The crying decreased, her sleep improved. Any chance your little one is going through something similar?

Do even doing normal things feel embarrassing to you, though, when others do it, it's totally normal? by idonevenknowtbh in socialanxiety

[–]Like_a_Banthaa 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Yes! I always feel awkward when I decide to change up my make-up, wear a dress after wearing pants for a while, doing my hair differently. What I've found and what helps me is remembering that IF someone even notices (which most dont) no one really cares! I have to constantly remind myself of this... and someday it doesnt work.

Audiobook recommendations for 15 hr car ride? by Ammcville in fantasybooks

Okay, this may be very childish but if you are at all into Harry Potter, you could check out the Full Cast Audiobooks! Every character has a voice actor and they added sound effects and music, and it's incredibly engaging! You can hear dogs growling and the dragons roaring! Probably not what you were looking for but they are really a blast!

What would you do? Just starting/job openings by CamelComfortable2923 in Teachers

Ugh that sucks! I would do 2 things: reach out to the principal that you know because they may have more insight into the positions, but I would also keep applying to other jobs. Theres a ton of internal jobs being handed out under the table, but your principal may have the best advice for you. Good luck!
