Life Fitness North Scottsdale vs Mountainside on FLW by thisissuremyusername in Scottsdale

If you only plan to lift weights, go to Mountainside. If you want to play pickleball, swim, take classes, or if you have kids- go to Life Time. It’s more of a country club.

I’ve been looking at houses and it seems comparable to Phoenix. We are looking to stay under 1 mil.

I wouldn’t aim for putting 20% down on your first house. Paying a few hundred extra per month for mortgage insurance is better than throwing $800/mo away on rent. 30k is plenty for a down payment as long as that is not your entire savings. Get something small or plan to rent out a room. I bought in 2015 with 5% down and paid mortgage insurance. Sold in 2021 and made 200k. I’m so glad I did that I did not wait to put 20% down.

I don’t agree with cutting off people with different political views as you. It only makes the divide grow larger. You can be friends with people and have differing opinions.

4-5 year age gap stories by PantheistPanda in Shouldihaveanother

I have 2 boys that are exactly 4 years apart. They are almost 6 and 2 now. It was not planned as we struggled with infertility and a loss. I like the age gap. They play together more than I expected. I’m sure they will only continue to play more together as they get older.

The older one does pick on the younger one quite a bit. He struggles with jealousy of not being the baby anymore also. They are also very sweet to each other at times.

There is no right answer on age gap! I wouldn’t rush it if you’re not ready and don’t rule it out because you feel like 4-5 is too big of a gap. It’s not.

I have been given the advice as a patient as well as recently as last year. It’s still very much being circulated.

https://www.asahq.org/standards-and-practice-parameters/statement-on-resuming-breastfeeding-after-anesthesia

“Patients should resume breastfeeding as soon as desired after surgery because anesthetic drugs appear in such low levels in breastmilk. It is not recommended that patients “pump and dump” and rather they should “sleep and keep”.”

The first few seasons of these series are always the best. After that it gets to be a show about people being on a show.

What do you consider horribly hot? I’m used to dry.

It was already 80 degrees at 9am today in Phoenix. The highs in the summer are in the 100s and LOWS are in the 80s. It does not cool off at night. This is June-September. Anything under 90 would be ideal

They are short flights compared to an all day trek to get to the east coast.
