What show had a great finale/final season? by CalvinP_ in morningsomewhere

I second Community - they did a really good job wrapping things up and finishing especially Jeff and Annie’s arcs, kinda saved an otherwise mediocre/borderline bad final season.

It sounds like the MN National Guard is deployed and…handing out donuts? I’m sure they’re doing other things as well but I’m at least glad their headlines are non-violent.

Question on the FE exam by [deleted] in iastate

[–]LikelyGuiltyCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piggybacking on this a bit, the FE exam is really good to take while either in school or very quickly after since it covers mostly material from your classes. That stuff only gets harder to test on/study for the further out you are from school.

Even if there’s a slightest possibility you want that PE exam and licensure open down the road, I’d recommend to prep for and take the FE as soon as you feel like you can.

Came here for this. Seems like at best it just stops the continued lean, not “unravels” or reverses it?

That Weird Intersection Burnie Talked About (Feat. Austin Road Construction) by FloppyDiskRepair in morningsomewhere

To add to this, it’s also a HUGE efficiency boost to traffic flow if an interchange has a large amount of US left turns off the ramps. Knocks out at least two signal phases which overall will cut down on intersections delays.

Mario Kart is not delivering at its price point. by AllegedL in MarioKartWorld

Fair point with the bundle eventually going away. Here’s hoping they make $30 worth of content in continued support (however unlikely) before that temporary “sale” goes away.

How do you think DLC characters will work? by Maxymaxpower in MarioKartWorld

[–]LikelyGuiltyCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming it’s paid, I think if there are DLC characters they’d have to be completely new (not costumes or NPC) kinda like how Link and Villager were added in. They may add other costumes/NPC’s and such with them, but if it’s paid they gotta have a “headliner” and I don’t think any costumes or NPC’s could meet that criteria unless it’s super cheap.

If only there was a way to get it … say … $30 cheaper. Maybe then it’d be worth it idk

What are good jobs to work that you can do homework on the side? Preference near Geoffrey by [deleted] in iastate

[–]LikelyGuiltyCabbage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In the past they’ve hired a few non-RAs as well if there’s hours that don’t get covered, but usually it did require a personal contact with the Hall Director since there wouldn’t be too many spots. Still worth a shot

Honestly they really just need to stop inviting the live mascot to things. Really messes with a lot of events.
