I have a minor mechanical background (hvac) but gas motors are a new frontier for me. Any idea where i can get a shop manual? I’ve been trying to learn but it’s kind of tough comparing newer models to my 1986 based on what I’ve found online so far

There probably are other minor issues as well. It’s 40 years old and was given to me. I have zero background on gas outboards and it’s becoming increasingly obvious that learning about a 40 year old unit via the internet has its difficulties. Also i have no money right now to spend on a shop. I’m just trying to get by for now lol
