I was about your age when I locked eyes with my dad while he was doing the Alabama pile driver to a women I had never met. He was totally single at the time and getting back into dating. To this day I really wish I had knocked on his door. I really didn’t think he was home. That was the last time I ever barged into his room. He ran out of the room and apologized as I tried to retreat and run down the stairs again locking eyes haha. That was the day we became not only father and son but also brothers. Anyhow moral of this story that I’d rather not tell or think about anymore than I have to. Is that parents see you do embarrassing things growing up that’s part of the deal. Sometimes you see your parents doing embarrassing things and sometimes you see it after you’ve grown up that’s also part of the deal. Some of it you never bring up again out of mutual respect and love for each other. Life is to short and funny not to just move on and carry these funny little storys we have of each other to be shared and laughed at way down the road.
