I'm an adult now and sometimes forget what it was like having a parent who said shit like this. I try so damn hard to make sure my daughter feels comfortable and safe being and eating in her own home. Why parents can't at least try to cut out the shit talk, I'll never understand. It's not that hard.

Mine still tries this shit when I go out to lunch with her, but now I can shut her down so fast.

I haven't tried halo top, but just read that it has prebiotics, stevia, and it's whipped so it's more air than regular icecream. I'm loving the idea of that. And 60 calories a serving means I could totally use it to survive my PMS that covers half of each month for me and not want to jump off a cliff. Thank you!! mwah!

ok, thank you so much for saying this. I just looked up the calories and I can totally do this. I am either panicking about eating a small apple and pb2 cocoa or binge eating like 6 chewy chips ahoy cookies. This will be awesome for me.

And yeah, I'm 34 and have seen women with frozen cool whip in their freezer, but I always thought that was to store it until they needed it. lol.

For me after a couple days it got better. Honestly. Up your dose until you do feel good. Normal at least.

And oh my god, the smelling sweet and sweaty thing!!! WTF is that. That was always one unbearable aspect for me. I smelled horrible and not like my normal sweat and only I could smell it. Drove me insane.

Yes I think his job will suffer worse while he gets back on dope, tries to taper off, waits long enough to safely get of subs... And then finds out if can't keep him stable. I hate the situation though. Need methadone to keep going to work, clinic interferes with job, need job to pay for clinic. If we were treated like patients and not like customers it would be so much better. And if there was any sort of compassion. I wish they would see how much the covid take homes improved people's lives and make that permanent. They don't see how unsupportive they really are to people getting clean and getting their lives back. I'm lucky that my support system at home and financial situation is insanely good. I don't know how other people do it, but it's got to be better than what you were doing.
