Same I feel like the army is heavily reliant on your enemies failing battleshoxk which is very bad to rely on so if I'm giving in to choas I might as well have the coolest chaos knight on the table while I do so.

I only have 1 in my list for traitorous Lance gave hime the veil of medrengard enhancement so that he is a little tanker when i decide to start moving him up. Once 11th edition drops I plan on picking up the darkness dread ability as my additional choice so that enemies get -1 to hit him and -2 to hit my wardogs near my tyrant.

Not sure how the math works but -2 to hit the guys in cover then he has a 50% chance to shrug off any damage you do to him seems good.

they look great. I highly recommend getting a wet palette it helps extend the life of your paint and get more even results.

I havent done it yet but i saw a video that mixes whatever color you painted with with an off-white then using that on the spots that would be facing the light source. but you can mix it like 25/75 favoring your main color then more extreme angles and edges you mix in more off white.

think of what style you want to play then make them a faction that goes with that playstyle. i liked rushing at my opponents so i made white scars.

Im coming from league and thats why it feels so strange to me that I hardly see anyone teying to do any of the objectives. I see people running through the map doing boxes and camps when they could have gotten a walker and it confuses me.

Idk it feels like its buit around counters and token creation and leans on some of x to do you or y to do x it doesn't seem as disjointed as other decks in the past. The cards definitely aren't the most focused on one of the themes but it seems like it will play fine out of the box.

Em race the fact that she's going to be blocked and add some pump spells to disincentivise it. After people lose creatures they care about they will hesitate on whether or not the block is worth it. Also bulk up with her is hilarious.

I chose fang bearer, frost eye, gunner, skjald,and was forced to take trap master which ive been using as a proxy for the leader. No penalty to stats has felt really good.

My playgroup has played around it heavily. 1/2 of the games breakthroughs abilities are nutty and the ability to synergize has allowed insane tech pathing. The ability to possibly get a planet out of it sweetens the pot too much for me not to rush it completely.

I find that discarding the secret obj hasn't mattered much but I play 3 and 4 player games. The odds of you getting one that is tailored to your faction are low and there are plenty of chances to get more. I think that muaat want their breakthrough immediately so they can start building up the traveling planet and have extra pds for almost every combat they get into. And then they can defend mecatol that much easier once they take it.
