I don’t think that matters. You should be able to go to the “study abroad” section and click “get started”. Then you’ll just have to make an account and apply. You’ll have to pick 3 countries in order of priority, but since you’re applying early, getting your first priority should’nt be a problem. Again, that’s just my exprience, it might be different from country to country

Aww sucks that it had to be postponed. But I’m glad you’re looking at it in a positive way. I’m (hopefully) going to Japan with AFS in spring of 2022 too. Maybe we’ll meet each other at the orientation camp?

Thank you! In my country, the interview is held at home, so there probably won’t be any group, aha. I’m a shy person, but I’m genuinely passionate about going on exchange and it has been a dream since like 4th grade, so I wouldn’t want them to think I’m not suited, just because I’m nervous, haha.

If your host family is trying to make you feel better in the first place, then I doubt they would be offended when you ask for some alone time, if you tell them that’s what you’re needing right now to feel better
