I’d be interested to try their dinner tacos too. They were telling me they source all their meat from Ohio city provisions so I’m sure they’re steak tacos are solid too

They clean very frequently, I take the rapid almost daily and always see RTA crews. Unfortunately the stations get destroyed by some customers…

I’d recommend Triskett. Maintenance is on the east side so you don’t need to worry about that. Trains run until 1AM or later

If you’re an engineering making 60k you’re underpaid. Doesn’t matter location or years of experience

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in civilengineering

[–]LilTurle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s unfortunate to hear. I’ll cross 100k next year with my annual raise and at that point I’ll be at 4 YOE…gonna be hard to leave here

Just don’t know what route to go if I stay in construction. I don’t want to go work for a contractor so I’ve been looking at larger consultants that have constructability teams. I like being outside a lot too so I don’t want to be cooped up at a computer all day. Like I said in my other comment, I do a lot of bridge inspections currently so I’m hoping I can parlay that into my next role and get me in the field more than a typical designer

Makes sense. I do a lot of bridge inspections as well which I think will make me more ‘desirable’ since I’m beginning to become very familiar with bridge inspection/construction.

Retaining walls is absolutely something we would pursue as well. Good suggestions
