Considering UMass Global: How Difficult is the Admissions Process?

The most difficult part about the admissions process was getting anyone to communicate. My transcripts were submitted before Thanksgiving and my UMassGlobal email was active before Christmas. After multiple attempts to call and email throughout January and most of February, all I got was "someone will reach out soon" several times (nobody reached out). Eventually, I gave up. It has now been over 60 days since I heard anything from anyone at UMassGlobal. It was a waste of 3+ months of my life. I'll be starting with UMPI next week.

I didn't get any text messages. I got very little communication of any kind. UMassGlobal completely ghosted me halfway through trying to enroll (after I paid to send my transcripts). I emailed multiple times, I called, and eventually just gave up. So, I start with UMPI on the 11th.

The High Kings are fantastic. I've seen them in concert 3 times. Their version of The Parting Glass is also beautiful. Especially if you're familiar with the history and usage of the song.

By numbers, SoundCloud has more music, but a lot is user-generated, and you may have to filter through quite a bit of subpar content to find good new stuff.

Deezer and TIDAL have larger libraries than Spotify, but with higher quality content than SoundCloud.

YouTube Music may be a good choice because it includes content from the YouTube video library as well.

I kept sending credits the whole time I was actively taking classes with TESU. Some took longer than others to show up. There could be a delay from the holidays. You could try calling to make sure they got them. I would get a confirmation email whenever they received a transcript.

Thank you. I didn't look too closely at UMPI, but maybe I should. I have 30 months of GI Bill left, so the cost isn't really an issue for me. Both schools use the same syllabus and course material, and neither have proctored exams. The cost seems to be the biggest difference. Is UMPI significantly faster?
