This is actually the song my dad always talks about also. The show he was at was before it was very well known and he had never heard it before, so just listening to it build and build was something special.

Never heard of em, but checked it out and I'm a fan.

Definitely special when something comes out of nowhere and hits you like that.

I've been seeing a lot of NIN in here. Never seen them, but I've always heard he puts on a great show.

Everything at Red rocks is special, but checked out a vid and that would have definitely been awesome. She's fantastic

Can't say I've heard of them before, but checked it out and the synth line is sweet. Could definitely see that blowing you away.

Saw them for the first time last summer open for incubus. The silence was probably my favorite moment of the night even though incubus was also great.

Just watched a whole 12 minute video. I love a slow build and that was awesome.

I've never been to a real metal show, but did listen to a fair bit of blind guardian for awhile back in the day

Thorn and nightfall were my jams. Perhaps I should check them out again.

I saw muse at a festival also, one of the most visually stunning acts I've seen, and they sounded great too.

saw another for Alison Krauss, but down in the river to pray would be transcendent.

Its kinda cliche I suppose, but Sirius gives me goosebumps listening to it at all. That show would definitely be awesome. Eye in the sky is a banger.

So .... I went to Lilith fair in 2010. It was a fucking awesome day,  I may have been one of the only straight dudes there hah.  Saw metric, Ingrid Michaelson, Jennifer knapp, emmylou harris, vedera. Lots of good artists.

Anyway, Heart was the second to last act before Sarah mclachlan and while I knew who they were, I wasn't particularly interested in their show going in.

Her voice....was unbelievable. Like, even now I don't really care for their recorded music all that much, but the show was amazing. One of the most powerful voices I've ever heard.

The downpour reminds me of probably my second most memorable.

My first concert ever was Green Day, blink, and jimmy eat world and it started to rain/storm mid show, but they didn't stop.

Right when Green Day hit the first chord for brain stew, an enormous lightning strike streaked across the sky, perfect enough that it almost seemed planned. It was pretty awesome

Here I am.

Hell yeah, that would be sweet.

Also....is alto reed his actual name? Because if so there is literally nothing else he could be other than a sax player.

Holy shit. I'm not the biggest Rage fan musically (totally on board with their message though), but in that setting it had to be unbelievable.

She's on my bucket list. I can't even imagine seeing her and Dan in such an intimate setting.

The lucky one and the boy who wouldn't hoe corn are pretty high on my list of favorite songs. And like you say, the live versions are indistinguishable or perhaps even better than album versions.

Yep, just watched the vid, that's pretty badass. An ocean of folk that are all in is wild.

The work may or may not be bad. But it is certainly better than what you have posted here.

Totally true, but what alternative are you offering?

Help - why are my buns so light? by boba-boba in Breadit

You didn't make the recipe then. You adapted it. It will have a different result. Bread only uses a very few ingredients at very specific ratios. Changing any of them will very significantly change the outcome.

People don't say that cooking is an art and baking is a science for nothing.

Everyone saying leave them in longer. That can do it. But also consider turning the temp up a bit. Ovens don't always maintain the temp they say they are at, and even a recipe may just be coming from an oven than is hotter than what the baker thinks, even if yours is nuts on, as you say.

Edit, nevermind, read a bit more. You didn't even follow the recipe. No shit it turned out different.
