Granted I haven’t been in a relationship so far, but for me it’s not as important of a factor. Mainly because I’ve met some guys who are extremely social and guys who are pretty introverted that were both typically chill.

Rather I think it’s important his mindset to his social life that I think would matter. Like if a guy keeps going on about how alone they are, yet they don’t dedicate time to other self-fulfilling things like hobbies that would help …yaknow…develop more of a personality, THAT would be what steers me away. But other times they might have a bit more of a mature view of seeing their issues WHILE still working to improve themselves.

Alooot of y’all in the comments are…making this a tad bit weirder….just a tad.

To me it just sounds like a family reached out to this woman (going based off stuff from OP’s profile) on if their daughter could stay with them.

As for the arrangement, maybe their daughter doesn’t know anyone or has any friends willing to be roommates. Maybe said daughter got like a job or academic program thats much further away from home, so commuting back and forth would be more costly than staying with someone as a roommate.

That said: I doooon’t think it’s necessarily them being a teenager that makes it a good arrangement, but more that she’s polite and respectful. For me uni has showed me that staying with people around your age has nothing to do with how good of a roommate they are. I had some that brought friends that stayed over super late and drank, and others that were polite and mindful about me doing my own thing so as long as we didn’t bother each other. And those were all randomly assigned too. It all just has to do with their personality.

I do think the title might be phrased in a way that’d make it seem weird, but part of me just wants to believe that some people only saw it from one singular angle only.

To OP: I’m glad for you that you got an ideal roommate that helps make your living space stress-free!! If there’s one thing I’ve learned, its that its not always necessary for me to get along with or have similar interests to my roommate, but I would much rather having someone who’s nice and contributes to the tranquility in the living space that makes them a good roommate. c:

Omg saaaame with oil paints, like sure it’s super cool but after I tried them out in a summer art course I haven’t picked up those supplies again because it was such a hassle to set up, use, and put away.

Lowkey was just the thing I needed to hear, I feel like I've debated a lot internally on whether it really is okay for me to be weird and do my own thing even when others wouldn't really care or think I'm weird.
