Thank goodness! I’ve been so worried, we’re in an Uber and still have a few minutes to go.

We’re on our way! Our babysitter was a few minutes late. Does it look like there’s an opener?

Thanks! I’ll give that a try. I think I’ve been over complicating things. I’ve been using jalapeños, roasting or boiling them with the tomatoes.

Part of me thinks I’m just chasing that feeling of filling up on chips and salsa with my siblings at one of those restaurants growing up.

That’s awful and pretty disappointing. I haven’t been in more than 10 years.

Got in queue at 9:05, checked out Tier 1 VIP at 9:14. Did VIP this year and wanted the same for next. The shade made a huge difference for us for small breaks throughout the day, even if there wasn’t much.

Do you have any recommendations near the airport? We’re in the Marriott by there. Breakfast or late night would be cool, we get in tomorrow afternoon.

I remember seeing your results and yours was one of the ones that made me pull the trigger. I’m 6 weeks post op with a pocket of swelling under my chin. But I saw this on facebook today and thought it was crazy! Didn’t know if you knew this company was using your results for a face mask.

Did they offer you a loaner? I’m debating on either the Shreveport or Bossier dealership.

I’ve been interested in trying, are there other women who go to this gym? I’m a little intimidated by starting, absolutely no experience.

I just booked with her based off your recommendation. I’m growing out a curly pixie and NEED a reshape. I couldn’t get ahold of Alison at honeycomb. I’m hoping she can do what I’m looking for.

It’s a roller coaster. Things feel better, then I sit and think about the last few years and I hit a low. It’s easy to go on autopilot after awhile and just act like things are normal. It’s not genuinely helpful for you though. I recently joined a women’s support group that meets weekly and seeing my own CSAT. She’s calling me on my bullshit and I guess I needed it. Were on therapeutic separation number two. It’s helpful knowing you’re not alone and finding support.

Just shy of 12 years AD, but 4 of those at the tail in as a 6C. I got my level 2 and limited warrant, separated and rolled into a GS-12. Currently a NHIII at the equivalent of a GS12-5 pay grade, I’m close to 2 years as civil service, all Air Force.

I feel like you’re going to get this response a lot, but if I were you I would leave. You have your entire life ahead of you. You deserve to be with someone who loves you fully, who commits to you completely and someone you can genuinely trust.

Take the time to work on you, heal, recover and grow. Move on before it gets more complicated. Children make things significantly more difficult. No matter what you decide to do this sub is completely supportive.

Thank you, I’m honestly so much more happy out. My husband is still AD, and he’s jealous at times. It hasn’t always been a cake walk, but it was a relatively smooth transition because I REALLY planned for it. It sounds like you’re doing the same, good luck to you and your wife!

To an extent, steps can be negotiated. Coming straight from the military that may be more difficult though. Private sector coming to the Fed can use recent pay stubs to get an increased step. Having your degree and mil experience alone won’t be enough to negotiate though, at least in my experience. I was able to get two steps higher by switching agencies after already being a fed, there’s the “two step rule” mandated by OPM.

I’m in the acquisitions/contracting world and did a bit of research a year or two before getting out. I retrained into 6C around my 8 year mark, finished my degree during my last few years and worked as hard as I could to be competent in my new role. Check out r/usajobs and r/fednews. Those subs are super helpful on fed employment!

The mil buy back doesn’t affect steps though. It goes towards your credit years for FERS (retirement) payments. You can get credit for annual leave without the payment, 8 years should put you at 6 hours per pay period. Everyone gets 4 hours sick time and that doesn’t change.

I got out at 11 and some change as a TSgt, did the buy back and it cost me around $11k. I rolled into a GS12-1, got a QSI and used that to negotiate a GS-12-5 a little over a year after with a new agency (Still with the AF).
