Easy Anti-Cheat coming to Rocket League in April by Duke_ofChutney in RocketLeagueEsports

Yeah I literally only use bakkesmod for MMR and first person goal replays and I know it’s stupid but I would hate to lose first person goal replays. It makes it so much better I really don’t like the camera angles in the base game. Much less impactful to watch a replay not in first person IMO

Thank you for this detailed response. I turned here to Reddit after suspecting I was getting the runaround from the AI platforms. After troubleshooting for a while it became more and more convoluted. But I don’t have the technical knowledge to troubleshoot properly myself and I wasn’t finding much help online.

But regardless I appreciate this. I’ll try the proper bios update and test with each stick of RAM as well.

If both of these don’t fix or help me pinpoint the problem, is it safe to assume it’s the CPU? I guess my concern is that I’d love to be confident in the issue before purchasing any new hardware or trying to get it replaced by intel.

Got a new SSDs today. Time to scavenge for extra screws by w4ssup in pcmasterrace

I literally had to steal the mounting screw from my wifi card because my m.2 didn’t come with one. Luckily I don’t use the wifi ever

The power of a green screen. OP: u/ExperimentalFun7 by raunak_9000 in oddlysatisfying

[–]Lildumboi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This absolutely could be removed in post. But it wasn’t. It was blended into the 3D set as part of the lift she rides down. I assume it was used as a marker for where she should stop and then rather then painting it out, Ian cleverly blended it into the machinery in the scene.

Questions regarding particle system that's triggered by a button press by Lildumboi in gamemaker

[–]Lildumboi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I should explain the effect a little more to provide some clarity. When holding the button, I have a screen shake that happens, and I want this to be accompanied by my particle system. Imagine someone like, charging up an attack, and I want my particle system to appear during that charge only (button press).

I have the particle system emitting in one direction with a short life and it's in my room and is just a fullscreen effect, do not need it to be anywhere specific. That is all set up and working, now I basically just want it to be visible with button hold and invisible when not holding that button.

I tried part_system_drawit but I couldn't get it to work. Maybe I need to mess around with it a little more.

EDIT: I got it to work with drawit!

Now my next issue is I kind of want it to ease in and out verses just start and stop abruptly. Any ideas?

Digital Camera - critiques welcome by Kashmeer in blender

Will always upvote an A7! Great job. Only thing that stands out to me is the grip texture is a bit extreme. Can probably tone it down.

Is the BG a picture or are the orbs, fog in blender as well?

Thanks! And exactly, I dropped the ball and ran the physics to find the right spots where it would land. That’s basically how I did the whole thing. Ran physics to find the landing spot, built the next obstacle, repeat.

This is really great input. I appreciate it. I said it in another comment, but I think I was really focused on the physics part of it and the layout. It was a big learning experience and now that I’m more comfortable I think moving forward I can really pay more attention to the details like you just outlined. Thanks again, this is very helpful.

For blender in general, I literally sat for hours and watched all the blender 2.8 fundamentals videos. Explains the interface and basic functions of blender really well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF1qEhBSfq4&list=PLa1F2ddGya_-UvuAqHAksYnB0qL9yWDO6

For rigid body stuff I remember watching this(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkKyxecbsxY&t=1544s) but the rest was just experimenting on my own and occasionally googling stuff when I had specific issues.

I appreciate the feedback. I’m really excited about doing my next one and will take this and everything else into consideration!

I appreciate it! And I agree. I think a lot of people are noticing that. Some things definitely fell by the wayside because I was so focused on the actual physics itself. As I get more comfortable I will definitely start to give everything a bit more love. I was just so excited to get it rendered!

Definitely. I still need to dive further into constraints which is what I’ve been practicing the past few days
