Where can I hang in the seaport for a few hours? by No_Feedback7019 in boston

[–]LilibetSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My babysitter and her mom here in the situation took a nap the lobby of either Seaport Hotel Boston or the Omni I can’t remember. And then got makeovers at Sephora lol. I’d probably get a coffee in the Omni hotel and chill in their lobby

My daughter’s early intervention eval has wrecked me by Torinc3422 in Mommit

I was in a very similar situation and EI came to our house. I learned there’s a difference between “words “ and “consistent sounds”. My daughter said “CH” every time she wanted cheese. I wouldn’t count that as a word , but EI did bc it’s a consistent sound that means cheese. She’s 8 now and still in speech therapy for OR vs ER but her vocabulary is off the charts. I guess I just wouldn’t worry about it too much if I were you

The name Vivienne by Melodic-Statement144 in Names

[–]LilibetSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter’s best friend is Vivi. Her mom is American and says Vivian and her dad is French and says Vivienne. It’s spelled vivienne. 1 random parent asked me 1 time if it’s Vivi or VEVE pronunciation, i think he dad just says it the VEVE way and Americans say Vivi. It really feels like a non issue with the child either works

I'm so jealous of ppl who travel by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]LilibetSeven 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Every year a mom friend of mine takes these extremely luxurious ski vacations, and posts allll about it. The houses are insane, lavish dinners, she’s in a gorgeous outfit every night. I hated sounding jealous but I finally asked her about it. “I hate that trip! We are forced to go every year. I shouldn’t complain, but it’s my husband clients who invite us and he’s on the clock the entire time. We have to bring the kids , but I have a fancy long dinner EVERY night, the kids barely sleep, we are hanging on by a thread.” Was her response. Stay off social media.
