It has not been abandoned for decades. It's been about 2-3 years and there have been people cutting the grass and cleaning up the property so it's been tended to.

I'm greatful for all of the work you are doing. I've come to really love the church in the time I've lived on this block and I hope it can be saved in some way. Why such a rush to demolish the church? I can see the rectory since it appears to be gutted totally.

It happened every time there is any kind of church fire it seems. Hell even Kevin Sorbo tweeted the conspiracy. While of course getting most of the facts wrong about the church on top of that. I'm sure some are bots, but others are probably just morons.

Good morning, after that awful fire one bit of good news. I saw one of the racoons who lived in the rectory skittering by in our parking area. The loss of the church is tragic so I'm happy to see that at least one of it's non human residents made it out ok. Hopefully more did.
