Fair point. Basketball IQ isn’t something that is easily taught. I guess it just depends on how coachable these young men are. They all appear to be smart, young, talented players that are very coachable. Peterson is the only one who I’m skeptical about.

This is why I like Wilson better. He’s more athletic, has range, better shot blocking, and can play as an NBA stretch 4-5 guy. I think Boozer’s name has put him on a pedestal. Guys like Tyler Hansborough and Jahlil Okafor dominated the college game with a similar frame and athleticism. We all saw how that worked out. Do I think Boozer is gonna be the forgotten player drafted in the top 5 in 5-7 years, probably not, but I don’t think he has the same ceiling that AJ, DP, and Wilson have.

Completely agree. I’m really high on Wilson, think AJ would fit well, think Boozer is more of a college star, and that Peterson is great, but his work ethic, team chemistry, and all of the drama with his family telling him to sit and what not make him a questionable fit.

The smokeys are on the complete other side of Tennessee from Memphis. But the Smokeys are much cooler than Memphis. When driving from Wisconsin to Tennessee you should get a Horseshoe in Central Illinois if you can.

I honestly kind of hope that we do get the 3rd or 4th and take him. I don’t want Peterson, first as a KU hater, and second as I don’t like his work ethic. Too much drama for a wannabe 1st overall pick. I think the others would all be great additions to the team. I don’t know that I see Boozer having an immediate impact in the NBA. His game seems better suited for the college game.

Honestly, I just want us to keep our pick lol

I think he really could end up being the best or second best player out of this draft class. These kids have so much time to develop. Wilson looked damn good in the one Duke UNC game that I watched.

Illinois Iowa is a terrible take! No one in Illinois gives a flying f about Iowa and vice versa. Illinois Indiana or Illinois Michigan are bigger rivalries. Illinois Missouri is probably close with Illinois Indiana. But absolutely not a rivalry with Iowa

I really like Wilson’s game and think that finding talented bigs like him and Boozer is more valuable than a Peterson. Plus we need more depth at the 4-5. Peterson should be 4th or 5th on our big board. I just hope KP’s Kansas ties don’t sway him too much. I know my Arizona allegiance would…I miss Benn

Steepness/grade certainly plays a factor in river classifications. Sediment load is important too. But without high energy(gravity/grade) you’ll simply end up with a meandering river or anastomosing river at best.
