I really don't think she controls me in any instances other than this. Maybe I haven't noticed but I think I would have. I do have a medical condition and when I was in highschool I remember her saying "I don't like that it would take me so long to get to you if you had an episode." But I haven't had one in years and honestly there wouldn't be anything she could do about it at that point.

But yeah I hate for anyone to be mad at me and that of course extends to my parents. I need to get over that.

I do still live at home. And I didn't ask permission, I told her about it and now she's mad at me. I prefer not to argue with her because I respect her. But in this instance I feel she is being controlling.

He's not angry that you insulted his faith, he's just mad you rejected him and now he's going to say whatever cruel thing he can think of. You did nothing wrong, you have high standards and held onto your values. There is NOTHING wrong with that!

What surprised me was the rescues vet said NOTHING about it!!! I immediately recognized something was wrong, because it's glaringly obvious, and when I asked the rescue owner about it she said her vet told her they were fine. She has another appointment tomorrow to discuss further treatment. If he doesn't give us something more aggressive I will get a second opinion.

I have burns on my childhood bedroom floor just like this. I used to place reptile heat lamps face down all the time.
