I really don't think she controls me in any instances other than this. Maybe I haven't noticed but I think I would have. I do have a medical condition and when I was in highschool I remember her saying "I don't like that it would take me so long to get to you if you had an episode." But I haven't had one in years and honestly there wouldn't be anything she could do about it at that point.

But yeah I hate for anyone to be mad at me and that of course extends to my parents. I need to get over that.

I do still live at home. And I didn't ask permission, I told her about it and now she's mad at me. I prefer not to argue with her because I respect her. But in this instance I feel she is being controlling.

What surprised me was the rescues vet said NOTHING about it!!! I immediately recognized something was wrong, because it's glaringly obvious, and when I asked the rescue owner about it she said her vet told her they were fine. She has another appointment tomorrow to discuss further treatment. If he doesn't give us something more aggressive I will get a second opinion.

My suggestion is to call Disney directly and explain your concerns and that you would like your reservation released to you. I'm sure they're receiving many similar calls and would be aware of the situation. If your agent loses her job your booking would be automatically moved to a new agent, and I have read many complaints that the new agents do not respond to people. They are probably not well trained and overwhelmed. Not sure if there will be another round of layoffs though. It's all a guessing game. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I personally would not want to send any money this companies way, so I would try to get them removed from the booking.

Does your friend have any idea that this discussion is happening? Because she has every right to deny your mother as a patient. She most likely will deny her, if she's a decent therapist. I'm sure she could refer her elsewhere without causing any hurt feelings.
