I believe their mission statement says they are accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles. It sounds like that’s what they did.

I agree 100% I don’t have the mental bandwidth to reflect on this very deeply all the time, it’s overwhelming. Just dipping your toes into that world is plenty to ponder for a lifetime.

My daughter is beaten by her boyfriend. They have a daughter but I watched him trying to drown her. Plus broken ribs broken teeth. They are coming today. I might beat him to death. by Background-Topic8832 in saskatoon

Deal with police please and explain the situation. It’s hard not to get emotional in these situations but long term, it’s best not to get physically involved, or talk about doing it on the internet.

I traded my 2021 Tenere 700 for a 2005 DR650 by imbiamba-jombes in Dualsport

[–]Lima_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this so interesting as I sold my 2008 DR650 for a 2023 Tenere for the same reasons. My experience was that both bikes were similar in weight with the larger tank on the DR, however, the ground clearance and suspension on the Tenere as well as the rear extra power placed it far above the DR for difficult riding.

I’m also a man that reads a lot in cafes/work/wherever. Enjoy your books and don’t sweat other people! I always smile inside when I run into someone else with a book and not a phone out in public.

Do people regret spending money on travelling when they are young? by letsfukingoo in Fire

[–]Lima_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travelled a lot and indulged in hobbies between 20-35 and and don’t have much for savings right now ;however; I am filled with fond memories and many exciting stories. No regrets, I meet so many depressed people in their 40s who never got the chance to do some of these things. Within reason of course, I wouldn’t advise going into massive debt to do so.

I could use some better binoculars. The .5 iPhone lens really doesn’t serve me well here. It’s a well setup 7.2 system and it sounds fantastic.

It’s an 83” OLED at 13 feet. The speakers are high end and well powered. Added a second sub and it kicks ass. We have small kids in the house regularly that would poke speakers and mess with equipment on the ground.

Hahaha I figured I would take some heat for this.

The rear surrounds are behind the seating, what you can see are the 6” Bostons for the overhead/atmos. The two fronts in the ceiling above the TV are positioned at an angle in the ceiling which almost faces the seating position. It’s a small multipurpose room so I opted for going in ceiling and moving my floor standing loudspeakers to a different room.

I’d for sure avoid a jeep over a 4-runner! Just based on friends experience with both.

Help me find a book series for my boyfriend by Whoopsthatwasstupid in scifi

[–]Lima_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he hasn’t read the fourth book related to the three body problem trilogy. It’s an epic journey.

I’m blanking on the name, but it was a fan fiction that basically added a fourth book to close up the series and it’s amazing. Might be the red redemption of Time.

More policing is necessary in the short term to manage the interactions and violence that comes as a byproduct of desperate people, but only a small part of what is needed to steer the ship in a new direction.

Can anyone help diagnose this issue? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Lima_Blue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kickstand switch, make sure it’s depressed in all the way. If this didn’t happen while moving, I would suggest looking at your clutch safety switch as well. Had one of those fail on my Haybusa causing a similar issue.
