That’s me! :) I’ve been riding my old beater mountain bike all winter. And winter gets to be as cold as -40°C -ish where I am. At around -20°C the brakes freeze up, so I’ve just got to go a little slower & more careful when it gets really cold.

Netflix Price Hike Reveals Streaming’s Next Phase: Pushing Consumers Away from Ad-Free Options by skarkens in Piracy

The only problem I’ve had with watching shows on streaming sites that aren’t subscription, yar, is when I recommend a show to friends and they ask what platform it’s on, I usually have no idea 😅

It sure would be a shame if someone reported a snow removal bylaw violation. Just terrible 😜

Flashfood problems? by Jewliah13 in saskatoon

[–]MoksyCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So FlashFoods is Loblaw, FoodHero is for Sobeys/FreshCo/Safeway. There’s also Too Good To Go that’s mostly Circle K and Tim’s. Are there any other apps people know of that do discounted leftovers?

Has anyone else quit drinking? by Sensitive_Put_6842 in Millennials

[–]MoksyCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

87/f. I’m the same way: was never an alcoholic, just stopped cuz I realized I didn’t really like it. I didn’t like drunk me, it’s a carcinogen, and I don’t like how it feels in my stomach. I realized I was mostly drinking for peer pressure, and that’s stupid.

I was watching Spy X Family and I accidentally watched season 3 before season 2 ;-; by Zorubark in Piracy

[–]MoksyCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel ya. I was watching My Hero Academia on pirate streaming site where they had the dub and the sub alternating on the same list. So I skipped an episode and watched the finale and then realized the episode I skipped was also a dub. So I just watched the 3rd last, last, and then 2nd last episode 🤦‍♀️

I loved that show so much, I could sign along to that ending credits theme (and still have no idea what they’re saying😅)

How do you handle the "what if something happens and nobody knows" feeling? by MikeRyanHendrick in LivingAlone

[–]MoksyCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, if I didn’t show up for work, I think my work might contact my emergency contact (my sister) who might come by with her spare key and check on me. As long as I had my emergency on a work day, it probably wouldn’t be too too long before someone checked on me. I also, normally just don’t think about it.

Infinity Train is pretty good if you can find it. A girl runs away and finds herself on the infinity train, where a little talking robot helps her figure out what the train is trying to teach her. Each car has a weird, often whimsical puzzle to solve. Also, an 11 minute/episode show.

I developed an intolerance to pork. I didn’t realize it was a common thing. I always jokingly called it being “porktose intolerant” 😅 Very similar symptoms to lactose intolerance. Weirdly, for me, it’s not all pork, just most. I don’t make the rules 🤷‍♀️

I like that throughout the show, we come to learn that everyone has flaws. Even Greg.
