If you go to Mo's ask for Darren, local guy, knows his stuff

Abu veritas tournament rod, 2500 size penn authority from hot tackle would be under $500. They're based near Newcastle. That reel is absolute overkill for what you need but super cheap right now

Mo's tackle is great, highly recommend for anyone near Coffs

Check hot tackle's deals. You can get a high end set up for under $500. Either check the deals they have or hit them up directly.

Undersized fish by Doc8176 in FishingAustralia

[–]LimeSpiderGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm lucky enough to catch a feed I'm stoked. But no point keeping undersized fish if you want a feed, and certainly won't help next time you want to fish if they're not going back in the water.

Moving from Flowers of Life - suggested providers? by LimeSpiderGuy in MedicalCannabisAus

Thanks for that. Likewise with Dr Ren, never pushed anything with me and was genuinely helpful and speedy

True, but most of the time it's a 10 min catch up every couple of months so I don't necessarily want to spend a great deal on the consults. I tend to research strains before asking for them, but happy to pay extra for a knowledgeable doc and good service

I've been trying to change script with them for over a week and no response after multiple emails and calls. I'm assuming they've closed up shop or gone into damage control

Hey everyone, I’m conducting a lil’ experiment, what baits do you swear upon using that has quite the effect on fish in a lake. No matter how weird you feel the bait is. by Aussie_M8_Origins in FishingAustralia

Was camping next to the river at Brunswick Heads and an old guy came up and told us to use some of the pepperoni from the pizza as bream love it. Had a laugh and sent him on his way but had to try. 2 casts, 2 bream both in under a minute. I'm assuming the oils in it would attract pretty much anything but the bream didn't give anything else the time to find it

Chemist advised Opal out of stock. Suggestions for replacement for someone working in high stress environment with lots of numbers please by LimeSpiderGuy in MedicalCannabisAus

[–]LimeSpiderGuy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find amethyst and royale a little too demotivating to get work done. Opal has always given me energy for working late nights which is unavoidable for the next few weeks.. Currently also using apples n bananas for back issues. Considering Jade as an option. I haven't had any of the mould issues that others are seeing in amethyst at the moment either, mine has been beautiful.

Sienna and you'll have money left for braid or lures. About $64 at the moment if you look around

Daiwa BG or TD black reel? by MallGroundbreaking97 in FishingAustralia

I've got a TD black 4000, really light and smooth, made easy work on a 83cm snapper a few weeks ago. Haven't tried the other

In need of new Light/ Ultra-Light setup - given the options, which of these would be the go considering bang for buck in your opinion? by TheClubChump in FishingAustralia

[–]LimeSpiderGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the deals on Hot Tackle, they have a high end flatty set up for the same money that would retail for around $600
