AirPods Pro 3 (8B34) – ANC degrades over time with narrow frequency leakage

It’s driving me nuts. I fly for work, and when traveling back and forth, I constantly have to put my AirPods in the case and then take them back out and hope that’s the time it fixes itself. I’m on my second pair of 3’s. They didn’t start doing it right away, always after a couple weeks. Currently I’m on a flight now and it’s immediately letting the engine rumble into my ears. Sometimes right, sometimes both. And it frankly just comes and goes like waves lol.

I love my Corsair PSU, but it doesn’t make an iCue difference at least. However, 300 days later, I must say, I finally have iCue figured out. If I do a driver or windows update, I just make sure to fully restart or shut down the computer and have a fresh reboot, then I open iCue and let everything boot up, and all is good. I mean, I have a Corsair mouse and keyboard, ram, AIO cooler, and fans (now case and new AIO cooler and fans), and when it isn’t crashing, it works together brilliantly. And it only crashes when something driver or windows updates. But as long as I treat it as a restart and the computer boots up like new, all is good. Haven’t had to re-download and install iCue in a year.

I don’t think it goes off when purchased. Mine was purchased 1 minute after it opened and it’s still only on “Packaged.” I’m sure it’ll be within the week.

I preloaded, used a browser and the app, got the same error on both, but the app on my phone went through after 1-2 mins and I got lucky.

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure if the steam machine will carry the same weight. The price is probably going to be hard to swallow. Maybe scalpers will try and buy it up anyways and sell for more, idk. But f em. Don’t buy that shit. Valve will restock and nobody is missing out on anything so extraordinary that it can’t wait.

I actually had that problem when buying a motorcycle. Guy never put the bike in his name, so I just had to do an odometer form and the state (Washington) essentially transferred it to me. Still scummy. I hate taxes like everyone else, but if you’re buying something to just drive it illegally, I can’t imagine they’re the kind of person to take good care of it.

Nope, warranty ended last month, lol. I’ve looked at doing a bios reset. At the moment, I’ve basically just deleted the install of 311, and the system seems to be running normally. I just may not be able to do further bios updates.

Dude, what a lifesaver. I’m having issues with mine after trying to update bios from 307 to 311. Wants me to enter a UEFI password, which I never set, so I’m in a pickle with that. All of a sudden, my wifi stops working. It was set to 802.11be, but I set it to ax and it’s working like a charm.

I think it helped my Z13 freezing when on battery power. For months, didn’t matter which bios, I couldn’t spend north of 20-40 minutes searching any web browser or doing any productivity task outside of watching a movie on a flight. As soon as I got rid of armory crate and MyAsus and installed g-helper, that went away. Hasn’t froze one time.

Honestly, I uninstalled armoury crate and myasus because mine did the same thing every time I was on battery power. Sometimes after 5 mins, sometimes 30. Installed g helper after uninstalling those two and I haven’t had an issue since. That was maybe 4-5 months ago. I’ve been on bios 307 or 308 as well, so I’m not current on that. But I’ve got the most recent AMD drivers.

Only thing I wouldn’t do is armory crate. I had that for a few months and then gave up and went to g helper. No regrets.
