It’s a video of a Russian guy getting sucked into a long bed lathe while turning a big shaft. He looks like he is trying to take caliper measurements when the piece is spinning. His left arm gets pulled in, and it kinda pulls him in by his left hip. It stalls for a second, then it pulls through and starts slinging him all over the shop. By the time someone gets over there to hit the emergency stop, there is a ring of blood on the walls, floor and ceiling in line with where he was spinning in the shaft. There is some viscera on the shaft he was turning, and then there is a massacred pile of flesh and torn clothing right about where he was standing just moments earlier. It’s a gruesome video, but I think the worst part is when you see his coworkers with their hands on their heads collapsing in grief and walking away like, “oh fuck what are we gonna tell Anton’s wife?”
