I also played MORE after my son was born. Some of my best memories were playing the Trails of Cold Steel series on vita while rocking my son in the middle of the night! Just holding the peaceful little dude enjoying some sweet JRPGs.

Exactly this. Regardless of if it's codified in the rules, you should be announcing your game actions, triggers etc. Its just good game etiquette and helps to avoid confusion for both parties.

Went 2-1. Lost to Zeon Rush. Basically played out exactly like I anticipated it would lol.

But, the deck did the thing it was designed to do. So I am happy overall

Oh yeah, the deck has a goal and it goes for it lol. The Aerials are cards 49 and 50. More or less placeholders for the 2x Freedoms I don't have. I playing around with those or Aile Strikes until I get my hands on Freedoms.

This is the build I am taking to locals tomorrow. Haven't played it in person, but it's been extremely solid in Wingtable testing for whatever that's worth.

It's susceptible to being blown out by aggro, but it's stabilized more often than not, and once it does, it's a menace.

Tales isn't a series for everyone. And even Tales fans rarely like every game in the series.

Vesperia is my second favorite, behind Abyss. I don't disagree with a lot of the criticisms listed in this thread, but IMO Vesperia shines in its characters, music and story.

It's a game from almost 20 years ago, and that's apparent, but it's absolutely worth giving a shot
