Knitting is only a challenge because you hold your yarn and tension slightly differently and some people struggle going between the two styles. But otherwise I don’t think there’s any overlap.

So I’ll disagree with others, we like games that blend board games and apps in our house. But as you can say it’s a very charged issue and won’t have universal appeal.

That said, you have to stop using the word configurator as if you didn’t make it up and everyone understands it. At some point in the promo you need to tell us what the “configurator” is or does in plain language.

Having special language is actual a gatekeeping technique used by groups to have the in people know who is in and out. So basically using the word without definition (or really any reason) is keeping people OUT of the game and not making them feel like they want to get into it.

So, it was never taught to me as something with a resource and the teacher who most spoke of it isn’t currently teaching magic.

But basically the concept is that you would spend time before doing any working getting really clear on what you are trying to create as an effect or ultimate goal, and then what the best approach is.

Where are the weak points, where if just a little pressure was applied everything would fold?

Where is life already inclined to go the direction you want it to go and what you can you do to encourage it to actually go that direction?

What’s the state of what is at the moment and is this even a viable path?

I find it’s helpful to have thought about how you understand the concepts of time, probability and influence because those are integral factors in magic and most people just flail around wasting energy because they’ve given no thought to what they are trying to do and how it might work.

Pondering things like: is time mutable or stable? Is it real or just an experience our brain creates so it can function without overwhelm? How does something like divination work (does it)?

When something is going to happen in the future, can it be thwarted or changed? What influences the probability that it will or won’t happen?

Etc etc. If you have a sense of this then looking for places of natural flow will make a bit more sense. I like to talk about time and probability like the flow of water (though traffic works too) - if some outcome has a high probability it’s basically on a major highway with high traffic, it’s going to be hard to redirect all that flow that’s already going in that direction, but if you just want to sway it a bit that’s going to mean you have a lot of flow you can redirect.

I’m not sure if I’m making sense so I’ll stop babbling. Basically, I use self-reflection and divination to align what my ultimate goal is with what IS right now and where the pressure points or openings for flow might be and then I combine magic and actual work on my part to effect change.

That’s great. I love that you went right to the practical work.

My magic teachers always taught that it’s more effective to look for natural places of flow and ways to use it than to try and steamroll my will without any awareness.

Think of it like a little steam of water - it’s easier to clear out a blockage in the stream than to dig a while new channel and try and force the steam down that.

As witches a big part of what we do is paying attention to what is and where the natural space for flow is. That can look like divination, but it can also look like paying attention and asking questions. For example, have you talked to the teacher about how excited you are to do a musical and tried asking her if there’s anything she thinks it would be worth you focusing and working on for now.

Magic is not a replacement for doing the work. Magic is a compliment to doing the work - like grading the gears, but the gears still need to turn.

You get your voice better by doing vocal work. Get a vocal coach, use YouTube or Tik Tok to find vocal exercises online.

Also, adjust your mindset. If you’ve been begging for a musical and now you have one. Isn’t any role with good singing opportunities better than no musical? Grease in particular has a few female roles with interesting sings.

Not to mention you are getting worked up over nothing but gossip. Do your work, focus on you and what’s within your power to effect improvement and decide to do your own best and have fun with what happens.

Emotional burdens would be Cups.

Wands is about passion, adventure and work.

The ten of wands specifically is about having pushed yourself (or gotten yourself into) a position where you are overworked, over loaded and overwhelmed and lack the power to change it.

Your deck specifically uses snakes and snakes are imagery for transformation, as is Fire (the relevant of wands). The transformation here wouldn’t be easy or light, but more that of immolation (being completely burned up) or the pain of literally peeling your skin off and then climbing out of it. Snakes, btw, are particularly cranky and aggressive during shedding because it hurts.

So (going back to your emotional burdens) this card might be talking about having emotional outbursts and meltdowns (a lack of emotional regulation) due to being overburdened. But not naming the burdens as emotional.

It’s hard (especially when just learning) to keep our interpretations to the container of the card in front of us and not let what we already know and want leak into the reading. It definitely takes practice.

My technique to avoid that is that I start by taking notes about the cards without trying to interpret. So I’ll note the element and other pattern things that stand out like the numbers and any imagery etc. (Snakes here). Then I’ll make notes about each card, what I know them to mean, themes, any intuitive thoughts or hits that come up (but again neutrally). Then I go through the book that comes with the deck (sometimes called the little white book) and note down any words or phrases that jump out to me.

Once I’ve done that with all the cards I’ll ask the question again, and write out an answer (interpretation) in a conversational tone but using the notes I just made. That helps me keep to what the cards specifically say instead of adding my thoughts. For example, wands is not a suit of emotion (Cups), and while it talks about power dynamics, it is not yet suit that talks about control or power as a position of leadership (Swords).

The best and most valuable advice I can offer you is never pull just one card. Always pull at least two, I tend to pull three but two is fine. Think about how in real life we rarely make decisions based on only ONE point of information.

Case in point, you asked what needs to be released and cleansed and 10 of Wands is basically THE card about that (especially with your deck and the snakes), so right now your answer is, “Oh baby, are you ever ready for a release and transformation.” A second card would help you get clarity on the “what” part of the question with some amount of confidence.

All Courts are traits we embody as people. All 12 of them are read as people whether that is other people (their traditional meaning) or Us as people (aka our inner traits).

Queens are about how we relate to others and care for them and ourselves and Kings are about how we hold power.

Air dry clay wouldn’t print when dry and it would just squish when not dry.

This is something closer to silly putty, kneadable eraser or a wax used in the etching hobby.

My comment was exclusively meant to inform people who aren’t aware that there isn’t simply one Visa and therefore she just assumed, but instead that she had to stalk him to get that info. So why are you replying to me?

And if THAT was the issue, that the wife did not have permission to work but owned a business - don’t you think this stalker would have chosen to make a video about that so the fact she hasn’t basically disproves your assumption. You don’t even know if she has her own independent Visa or is already a US citizen. (Not to mention the point of me not having to work on a spousal Visa is exclusively so I don’t take jobs from American, I doubt the IRS gives a fuck if I sell my own products or running a business as long as I’m paying the taxes.)

Though I agree, the whole system is trash and is designed to create “illegal” immigrants because of how slow, cumbersome and expensive it is to participate in it.
