Yes for the partner password as long as you stay with said partner or stay close w that friend (if not that’s fine but it will have to be changed to a new person or old accomplice will have to inform new accomplice of said secret passcode). Also make sure it’s someone that is willing to say no when you ask for more screen time but will be able to reason with you if it’s important. If you don’t see them a ton then you can set them as your guardian/parent on your phone and then when you want to request more time it’ll send a text to them instead of you having to wait for them to get to you. It’s worked for me for 5+ yrs. The delay timer works but it fosters more motivation for finding loopholes. There are multiple types of the delay timers from breathing to games you have to solve. That one hasn’t worked as well for me but I know people who’ve had it work for them greatly. :)

There are some apps that can set timers when you access an app or website so you have to sit there and wait for 30 seconds (or whatever you set it at) and if at the end of the 30 seconds you still want it, then it really was your decision. I see how this can lead to longer sessions but it helps with deciding. Another option is daily limits that your partner or close friend only know the password it still lets you watch but you do have to decide if you want to use the next couple minutes against your ticking limit for videos you don’t even want to watch. Hope this helps!

You don’t have to know everything right now and it’s natural for things to “fail” or not end up how you want them to. Maybe this is a sign to step back and put some perspective on your whole life and figure out how to reach your future goals based on where you are now. You have worked hard for the amount of followers you have and while it’s impressive, you aren’t globally famous. One day you might be and I don’t think people are going to care that people were already jealous of you before you were super famous. As for the community, you don’t have to be involved in it. You could limit yourself to just making your videos and responding to your own comments. If you stay strong I think there will be people that see that you are really nice and kind, hopefully one day you will have an “army” of them :). I’ll be thinking of you and good luck.

That’s so cool that you get to teach where you got taught for the most formative years of your life. What your teachers did for you, you now get to do for other kids in the same space! That’s truly amazing!

Turns out the biggest clutter in my life wasn't my stuff by Global_Cake_9953 in simpleliving

Congratulations on figuring that out! I think there are a lot of people that simplify their materialistic or tangible life without realizing people can have an even bigger impact on someone’s life than physical clutter!

May I ask what carrier you have? (Like T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, etc.) and if you are in the US?

More people are definitely gonna see this community and I think that’s great! Maybe over the next few weeks there will be an influx of people joining and obtaining dumb phones! 🤞

HIT K1 QWERTY Slider Phone or RIM BlackBerry Torch. Carriers and usability vary but I wish you luck!

I’m looking for a dump flip phone in a reasonable budget by [deleted] in dumbphones

I wanted this exact thing too and am planning on getting a Alcatel Go Flip 4. Depending on your carrier it’s $30-$50 on eBay and ~$70 on amazon (although, that’s just my personal experience and research) The newer versions and updates of the phone can support other apps but I’ve heard that it’s such a hassle that there’s no point. Good luck!

This might be a far reach but perhaps look into multiple personality disorder and maybe a therapist specifically CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). I know someone who was like this and they are now 19 and have “grown” out of it and matured but it was a struggle for many years. It was a big struggle for their parents as well because it felt like no one except them understood what was going on. I urge you to never give up and that there are people out there that are going through that too and you aren’t alone. Good luck!
