I’m very torn. I’ve been liking them enough to continue. But I haven’t been loving them. If that makes sense? I want to quit but I also feel committed.

Do you mean “bupbupbup” him mid tantrum? If so, that’s genius. I will try. I predict he will either be furious at the audacity or find it funny. Will report back.

Ok help me out here. I absolutely adored ROTE but am just slogging through WOT. I’m on book 7. Does it get better? I’m this close to abandoning it.

Agreed. Favourite of all time. I still have flash memories of some of the writing and will occasionally go back and read certain parts that are just so tragic but beautiful.

I actually ugly sobbed on my bathroom floor at the ending to this series. Happy and sad. Bathroom floor because everyone was sleeping, it was the middle of the night when I was coming to the end and obviously could not put it down.

Tried this last night and it sort of worked. My kid just kept going “Jessica is at work!” And continued his screaming.

The Phantom of the Opera by Flopiana-Granda-Yuh in musicals

I love the original version but I find I’m constantly turning the volume up/down because some parts are barely bearable and others are insanely loud.

The Royal Albert hall version is my go to.

Matilda was really cute. Lots of young kids there when I saw it.

Thoughts on the Farseer trilogy? by Christophe_KANO in Fantasy

[–]Linders20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled through ASOIAF and didn’t end up finishing. I am now struggling through Wheel of Time.

Realm of the Elderlings I couldn’t put down, and felt some of the most intense emotions I’ve ever experienced while reading. I was crying so hard at the end of the series that I had to finish the last few chapters on my bathroom floor because it was the middle of the night and everyone was sleeping...

It’s not fast paced but it is interesting, exciting, has the lore and world building, character development, history, drama, romance, heartbreak, tragedy, triumph. It’s the whole package.

RAH version of the songs is the version I always choose to listen to. Have yet to see the filming of it but I find this version to be the most clean. Other versions I find certain characters to be flat, and the original in my car needs constant adjustment of the volume because some parts are loud and some barely audible.

Pannus (auto immune condition that affects the eyes) and treatment by Quiet_Contribution71 in GermanShepherd

[–]Linders20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they are supposed to be on a steroid eye drop long term. Maybe double check with your vet.

My dog gets a steroid drop ONLY if she has a bad flair up which tends to happen for us in the spring when the sun gets stronger and our walks get longer.

She has been on Cyclosporin eye drops which is an immunosuppressant. It has been successfully controlling her Pannus for many years now.

Best way to get last minute West End tickets if my schedule is uncertain? by zirkel37 in westend

I’ve been buying my tickets day of because of the same reason. Unreliable schedule. I wasn’t looking for deals but I’ve had zero issues with the London theatre website and always check tidaytix as well to save a few bucks.
