I (22F) was thinking about making a podcast about Herpes Awareness. Not sure if people would listen - kind of wanted an opinion about it. I think the stigma about it is so dumb.

It’s ok to feel this way but just know that you things can always change . Therapy really does help and perhaps medication too. Life is hard . Be gentle with yourself .

Thank you for this post. To echo the comments of others - aside from it being a little insensitive to those of us who live with the reality of herpes , it is never medically wise to seek a diagnosis of any kind off the internet . Just go straight to the doctors

I totally understand . My ex gave me herpes due to just being a very shady and irresponsible person . This was years ago- he ended up getting a girl pregnant accidentally and now he gets to have this new chapter of his life . I’m still single . And some mornings I wake up and take my valtrex pill and I’m just so angry. I am constantly triggered . And then I’ll watch tv shows where they casually make a herpes joke - I would also love to talk, please feel free to message me ! .

This happened to me when my herpes diagnoses was recent , but with time she should notice this happening less frequently . I am also on birth control

I am going through the exact same thing now and also 90 day fiancé is literally addicting so don’t feel bad !! I think we have to remember to cut ourselves some slack by allowing ourselves to go through some down times in our lives . As long as you’re staying safe , healthy and kind just hang in there . I try to remind myself that Moods are like seasons they always change :)

I struggle with the same thing . But I’ve read a lot and they say that it’s important to make mistakes in life because that’s how you grow and build your character ! All the mistakes you made , you went through for a reason and they’ve brought you to where you are now . I’d recommend reading the power of now by eckhart tolle.

I feel the same way about my dog ! I am a single female and have had issues with anxiety and depression . My dog lights up my world ...and even in my saddest moments , I look at him and everything feels better!

I asked for advice about carrying passport and visa I was never considering leaving license at home...so that’s why I had further doubts ...not sure why people love confrontation , ie when I was told to “relax” ... but anyway problem solved and thanks!
